Mercs are definatly the strongest of single target healing still. Problem is in pve and pvp their is never a situation where 1 person is only tanking damage. With 2 healers the only comp that cannot do HM/NM is two merc healers. Aoe needs to be moved up to 8 people. Rapid shots needs to be usable on oneself. Some tweaking needs to be done to heat management. When the healing potential is about 60% of sorcs and 40% less than ops are doing, something is wrong.

Commando/Mercenary is easily the worst class in pvp, damage in the endgame chart means pretty much nothing. As an assault/pyro just spamming basic attack and detonator you can do over 300k, that doesn't mean you are actually useful or putting any meaningful pressure on the other team when a healer is in play.

Both their specs do a fair amount of damage if they're in open spaces (ie almost never, there's always los somewhere) and free of doing whatever the hell they want, ie NOTHING, not even a fly, is annoying them.

So, basically, they are extremely vulnerable and aren't really one of those classes you feel like "omg oh **** oh **** a commando is on me i'll be dead soon and i can't do anything about it" about, cause that simply isn't the case. You can always either kill them or escape them, unless you're outnumbered/outplayed.

The healing spec was decent, although the one of the 3 with the worst survivability and non existant escape tools, but was nerfed regardless and it's now even worse compared to the other 2 healers.

So yeah, commandos/mercs should be at the top of the "needing changes/buffs" list, can't really think of anything worse pvp wise in game atm.

Oh please, pre-1.2 dps sorcs could roflstomp mercs (and many others) with lightninglolz spamming. Thank god that reign of terror is over. Sorcs still have a bubble that eats the front load of a rotation for team mates, a sprint, pull, cc's and all the rest of it, meaning they still have utility for pvp that makes you useful. Mercs are just as easy to kill (armour mitigation is a joke so the "heavy" argument is pretty much void) and offer nothing to the team either. No real dps, easy to shut down, no utility.

couldnt have said it better myself. everyone that says some sort of QQ can alt tab back in the game and play their flavor of the month class. Mercs dont suck thats for sure, they do a ton of damage if you leave them casting attacks but the amount of interupts/CC in this game ruins it for mercs. the problem is everyone knows this judging by how many ppl swap and focus mercs. now merc stacking is good because u cant focus all of them and then they just bone everything. but do i really have to start a merc only premade? cmon bioware how thick can you get...

If you don't think a Sniper staying near mid to maintain control of the ball spawn is helping your team, then I don't know what to tell you. Aside from it's an important, and oft overlooked, job. They'll also focus the ball carrier and/or healer as they run through mid, and attack anyone attacking your own ball carrier. Killing Sages on the upper levels of your own side is also something they should be doing, to prevent pulls. They'd be foolish to go chasing people to either end zone, though. That's not their strength.

It's not because of any actual substantial buff. Watchman/ Annihilation has been the same pretty much since pre launch. It's just people saw all this stuff on paper, who couldn't think for themselves originall and re rolled.

Because sorcs are brilliant? They have every tool besides guard and are amazing healers and dpsers. They are gods in huttball can work goals while putting out 30-40% more dps than i can. They have range and melee, stuns, roots, speed, stealth I mean that's delusional?

Also if buoware said harder classes get higher dps why do sorcs get insane dps then? They are not hard to play. They are not the rotation heavy Mar/sent. Also how about letting me know that when i choose to roll the damn class. IMO that's crap.

Bh heals right now are just a waste if ur a serious pvper because even played perfect they cant save anyone if their taking damage and even if they are not focused at best they can help thru one dps attacking another dps as long as the fight isnt over 6 to 8 seconds. They have been broken. There is no reason to play one since even if you like the class they are not fun to play unless u enjoy rapid shot spam. Their resource is abismal and unless ur a lower level then them u should have no trouble killing one. If anyone thinks different then please tell us why ud take a bh hea over a op or sorc to a rwz or even over another dps since a dps with self healing and a medpack offers more to a team then any 31 point merc healer does.
I agree whole heartily with your post I play full bodyguard it is shocking what they have done to Bh I only pug mostly and i last not even 8 seconds to jug/sents/maras I am not going to complain am just going to go play my mara again
