LFG x-server is going to make a wonderfull game.
"push a button and lets wait till the group is together"
BOING there we go doing a FP/FP HM
When its done
"push the same button again"
This over and over and over..
Wonderfull game isnt it?
With LFG x-server you get way more peeps only using that. Thats a fact.
Hell...why not rename this game "LFG x-server Swtor".
There is more to do in this game then only push a single button.
Without LFG x-server you will force more peeps for looking for a guild or peeps in chat then when you have a LFG x-server. Thats a fact.

Whats the next thing you will cry about "Wheeeeee wheeee i want LFO x-server"
Christ....spoiled children
In wow before LFG system we did a lot of dungeons/heroics....but sinds LFD came...peeps got spoiled.
You see, even before rdf, finding groups in wow was like MILES easier than in this game. Even as a newbie dps i never had issues with finding groups in wow. In this game, even as a tank, i still have issues.

No, I think thats what really broke the "fun" from WOW. Everyone sitting in major city all day using the Dungeon finder

No, I want a same server LFG. Cross server tends to lead to lack of responsibility for ones actions in a group. I could easily do cross server and ninja everything that dropped in each group to sell on GTN and no one on my server would have a clue. If its same server and you do that you tend to get a reputation and are kicked. Just saying

That's only the lvl 85's, and honestly, what on earth are you going to do as a 85? Now picture this: no rdf with everyone busy sitting in the city being bored to tears, or with rdf you can still do your merry things and not stop your questing.

At 85 what sort of game-play to the LFD take away from? Please answer that?

How is spamming for a group on the fleet different from that?

Guess what, that happens right now and we don't have any sort of FP finder.

Why is it everyone saying "no" can't seem to get the point.......

There is nobody playing to get to know in the first place. During the day there is maybe 3 or 4 people on the spacestation for my server and nobody wanting to form a group for endgame content. You have to have people there before you can have social interaction.

Either there needs to be about 50% of the servers shut down and consolidated so there can be some people willing to play together on the same server, or we need a cross server LFG tool.
No matter how hard you try, you can't beat time.

Well, sure, I guess?

What I'd like to see is one giant server. First+Last unique. They already have the 'multiple instance' thing figured out, now just smash us all together. Let us all choose a last name (or use our current legacy name as a last name) and once everyone does that and everyone is unique across all servers, make one big server.

Every planet would have lots of instances. If one with too many people was laggy, go to a smaller one (like a 20). Allow a player to start a new instance if the 'lowest' populated instance has 20 people on it, that will help ensure there is always an instance going that will help people with performance problems.

Lots of warzones, heroics, flashpoints, operations going on. Would be pretty slick.

Allow to filter chats based on your instance or server wide. Probably need a whole need chatting system for that, but I'm sure that could be figured out as well.

Engage!
MOTD - One Giant Server - When I'll Need To Make My 'Bucket-List' List 1. I'm not having fun any more. 2. Puritans. 3. One or more characters were renamed in a server merge. 4. Something given to 'all characters on account' are not given to 'all characters on account'. 5. Design by Committee.

Honestly,

I'm really concerned on howthey are going to implement lfg, so they might as well put xserver (to help the dead servers out there)

1. There's a tank/healer shortage in this game and compared to that OG, the ratio of dps to tanks is 2:1 instead of 3:1. The q's are going to be to long for dps especially with part 2.

2. The flashpoints themselves right now have way to much trash in them, Kaon under Seige has a ridiculous amount of trash, as do the Ilum flashpoints. I just don't see tanks/healers q'ing up and putting up with that.

I think they're going to have to retune these flashpoints, otherwise q's are going to take forever.

It would appear that:

(A) "That is one of our #1 priorities right now. I walk into our programmer’s office and ask them everyday if we can get that feature out faster. So yes, it is coming soon. We need to make sure when you xfer over that it comes with everything like legacy, guild and all that stuff. It is not as easy as it might seem."

(C) Bioware's plan.
Can we please just have our pre-KotFE SWTOR MMORPG back?
