lol play the class then say that, yes it is out of the 6 alts i have its the most complicated to play well, sniper is very close to a sent/mara also, to say otherwise means you haven't played it...

Not just sages and sorcs... and this is an issue in the lower bracket as well where there is no expertise, so classes are playing exactly as designed.

I am watching sentinels and marauders, obviously second or third characters, played well by experienced players... and they are absolutely TEARING through people. They're ripping people up that far out-gear and out-level them. I've seen it time and time again, that a fairly fresh, post 1.2 patch mara (who is now around level 20 and has sub12k health bolstered) walk over players in their upper 40s who have 14k health bolstered in purple and blue mods.

Is it possible that these sents/maras are all just better players than those higher level twinks? No doubt. Is it also possible that they are not all better players and the class just gives such an advantage currently? Also possible.

On a good pop server with premades games go = quick bud, i have 2 min huttball games and even faster Nova coast...

Now you're talkng pre-50 PVP... Thats another bag of worms, snipers own that spot... well atleast they use to...Let me say this, pre 50 and pre 1.2 I would do well in pvp. Not many counters and dots and stuff... pre 50 is another whole can of worms... I ran a Novaire (I think its called that) today with 3 Mara's (Me being one) the other two were in mostly champ gear.... we even had healing and we got stomped by republic and it was all healer classes, except they had one Sent with them, and I dispatched him easily enough.

Yep, I brought up lowbie bracket as well to illustrate that it is not the expertise that is the issue. What people are seeing in the 50s bracket is not an exception -- maras/sents in the lowbie bracket rip up people regardless.

I so badly want to create one, trust me. I know it's easier to join the team than go against it, but I've always been weary creating classes just because they are strong at the moment. Long years of MMOing has taught me those classes don't stay that way for long... either that or the game crumbles eventually.

Mara's/sents do not need nerfed. They simply have three viable trees now. You may see more of them. The main pvp mara tree didn't get buffed at all. I wish all classess had three viable trees for pvp. You'd see more diversity.
This comes a from a lvl 50 sage(healer Hybrid) and a lvl 50 vanguard. So I'm not biased.

Maras don't really dominate in 1-49 pvp except against bad players in bad gear.

I play a lot of 1-49 pvp with my heal spec scoundrel and can survive quite happily against one almost indefinitely. I even had a fun time kiting 2 maras and a dps spec assassin around huttball for a while until my team finally turned up and pewpewed them to death.

I take a bit of time and effort making sure I don't have poop gear, and I'm pretty good at my class having taking the time to learn it also (I have 2 level 50s already, one of which is valor 68).

I'm not after applause or an ego rub, however maras/sents really aren't all that amazing. Perhaps the only thing I'd have changed tho is undying rage - I reckon it should make them immune to heals for 8-10 secs so peeps can't pop it at 2k hp then insta medpac and would make it a last gasp type ability rather than an iwin button (particularly in 1v1s).

Well it is settled then. We have CLEAR anecdotal evidence that you can now finish 20 huttball games in 40 minures

15 min per WZ ... that includes waiting in queue, the 1.5 min you wait inside the WZ before it starts, load times, and game times is likely a low estimate I am using to figure out how many WZs can play per hour.
