I have no idea how sales work. But limiting it to one vendor anywhere seems like a bad idea to me. They wouldn't say. Only wall mart can sell the box version and noone else. Don't understand why you would do it for online.

Pretty sure EA isn't looking to give a competitor money and the advertising rights to one of their biggest projects in the last 5 years. This is like saying Microsoft should release Halo 4 on the PS3.

It actually makes more sense online because you can just type in a new address and go to that site. Besides, when you click the buy now option on this website, it takes you right to origins. I highly doubt people who have Steam accounts and actually use them would be unaware of SWTOR's existence. And not sure if you were serious on the second part as I bought my son's copy at Best Buy and i have seen the game at Target as well.
