You feel Bioware has gotten worse since 2007-8 yet you still enjoy their games. Even if EA cared what the consumer thought after they purchased the product, what would be the downside for them??

the game exists because EA paid for it....

why would you hate a company that makes a game you like.. sounds kinda stupid..

Without EA buying bioware there is a good chance that Lucas Arts would not have went with a Canadian company to produce the game, instead pickign some other crap company like oh say SOE....

either way.. you can rag on EA but they make good games no matter what their business practices. of which you I think really do not understand.

I have no idea how sales work.

But limiting it to one vendor anywhere seems like a bad idea to me. They wouldn't say. Only wall mart can sell the box version and noone else.

Don't understand why you would do it for online.

Origin is owned by EA.. EA owns bioware.. its logical they wouldnt share the license rights.

Pretty sure EA isn't looking to give a competitor money and the advertising rights to one of their biggest projects in the last 5 years.

This is like saying Microsoft should release Halo 4 on the PS3.

EA should be putting it in front of as many people as possible. It isn't like (barring expansions) there's paid-for-DLC coming down... the.. line...

Oh, Maker...

It actually makes more sense online because you can just type in a new address and go to that site. Besides, when you click the buy now option on this website, it takes you right to origins. I highly doubt people who have Steam accounts and actually use them would be unaware of SWTOR's existence.

And not sure if you were serious on the second part as I bought my son's copy at Best Buy and i have seen the game at Target as well.

What about the fact that I can get Portal 2 through Origin?

Read what I wrote. I wrote ORIGIN, not steam.

You can clearly see Portal 2 and Orange Box available through ORIGIN:
