I agree to extend it, since it was never very clear on how to start the event and some of us didn't get to participate until a few days later.

I am hoping they extend it at least 1 more week. Sadly I am having issues with my connection and it was until yesterday that I was able to do part of this even between disconnects.

I'm sure exploration, discovery and communication is the reason for the limited information. The news pops on telling you the story and gives you 2 choices, go to location and investigate or run and hide.
That's why they call it space, cause there is so much of it.

I have wondered what will happen if you get the plague and then log off with the plague still incubating on your person. The event ends and then you log in a few days later with the plague still live on your and you explode in the middle of the Fleet. Now everyone has the plague all over again and another outbreak happens

Would certainly be something try though Bioware may just disable the whole plague code in the system.

As it stands now the "event" ends on the next regularly scheduled patch day at the time that the servers usually go down for the patch. It would seem that the "event" will be patched out at that time.

It was a fun event, and rakghoul DNA isn't too hard to get at this point if you really work at it.

The biggest problem with this event, though, is the way you get the containment gear. Past a certain cutoff point, there's absolutely no point in trying to get the full set, because they force you to only do one of those quests per day.

Because I started a few days late due to a demanding schedule, I'm going to be lucky if I can even get the whole set...right now it looks like I'll be missing out one piece of it.

Either they really need to extend the event a bit, or at least open up the containment gear quests on the last day of the event, make it so you can do more than one per day. Give people a chance to power through all of them instead of watching helplessly as they simply won't make it because there aren't enough days left.

The daily chaining of the gear quests is downright painful...I decided that with my limited time, I really wanted to get that out of the event...but because all my free time is concentrated in the latter half of the event, it's impossible for me to actually obtain the one aspect of it I was really angling for. I mean, if you can at least attempt to power your way through grabbing rakghoul DNA in one sitting, why not the containment gear?

Does anyone else agree with me?*

*Note: If you don't agree, please don't reply to this post. This is for people who would like to see this awesome event extended.
**Note: If you know a faster way to generate/obtain DNA (minus purchasing from other players) please share.
Yes, or at least remove the daily progression restriction and make them all available on the last day of the event so everyone who learned of the event late, had to work or for whatever reason was unable to complete all of the dailies in time will have a chance to catch up.

/signed.

The recent slew of maintenance in prime Australian play time plus that we are a day ahead in terms of reset times means that this has been impacted quite a bit.

Of course, it would also annoy those who dislike being exploded on, that is icing on the cake.

Oh, I just saw that 24/4/12 is another maintenance period.

So, only Sunday and Monday left for us Aussies. Two days only.
