I looked through a few of the other 1.2 sound issue threads and lo and behold I found at least one post acknowledging multiple sound issues instead of the vague stuff we have been getting here:

At least some acknowledgement that they are looking at multiple issues is better than just having your CSR's deleted (or worse, a response telling you to turn your sound off if you don't like it) and getting a vague response that a single sound issue (nobody knows which one) is being worked on.

Now at this point we would like to know what has been identified so we aren't left hanging that the sound issue that is particularly dear to our heart isn't being missed.
Nice find, some rough ETAs on individual fixes would be nice. May be an update to which issues can be fixed first. All I'd ask is an update from a mod in this thread once a day even if it's just them saying they are still working on it. Anything is better than silence.

Yep still having all the sounds disappearing too.

Doesn't feel very heroic to do Ops fights and only hearing static humming, like a waterfall, and occasionally sabre strike. No music, no bosses talking, no sound in cut scenes, no sound effects on spells, nothing except that humming. :P

Greetings all,

We really do apologize for the problems you are all having with your sound while playing StarWars: The Old Republic.

We are continuing to investigate the issue and would like to thank you for you patience.

Thank you for the reply to this thread. I hope you guys get this issue worked out soon as it's really putting a damper on my game experience.

Yes thankyou for the update, a fix before the weekend would have been nice, but I'll guess we'll have to hope for Tuesday now.
