Being "serous" is a very "serious" condition you know. Look it up if you don't believe me.

No one is judging you, calm down. But as I said people who raid, flashpoint,or warzone won't want to stay on a ghost town server they will transfer. Leaving you the super serious guy who likes low population. Do you know what you will have on your server ? Long warzone ques, difficulty finding people to form flashpoints, and 1 or 2 low end guilds. If you enjoy that its fine. But like the other person said I don't really see the point in keeping a server with 100 people.

Your argument is because you like low population they should keep a server with barely any people on it. Their servers can handle a lot the lag/ques won't be that bad even with 3-4 servers put on 1

Not going to argue with you

Anyone thats been here since launch has seen the endless cancellations of friends (yes yes other guy, of course you havent seen one and the sky will be overcast purple with pink pocka dots tommorrow as well)

Spin it anyway you want, Im sure EA will appreciate it (actually Im sure they dont even know your name for all your defence)

Server pops are down and accounts have been cancelled in force.

But then again, I guess cancelling does mean you play less.
Loyalty? haha. I'm not the one dumb enough, nor blinded enough, to pay for a multi-month subscription there short bus. My life also isn't so vapid and devoid of meaning that I post on a game forum for a game that I despise and have canceled.

I didn't say I liked low pop servers. I said you have no right to judge those who do. Transfers allow people to make their own choices, and not be forced onto a server they don't want. Will there be mergers eventually? Maybe. Maybe not.

Why else would it matter if they merged you will be on the same server but with more people....I do have the right to judge whoever I want and I will continue doing it. Basically you have no idea what you are talking about. Besides your personal preference list reasons why we should keep 120 ....,>>>>>120<<<<<<,one hundred twenty north american servers when we need half of that number.

Whenever WoW needed to open up new servers because populations where too high they used to control it.

They would pick the servers with the highest populations and offer free transfers to the new server.

As a side note, it makes me a sad panda to think that this game isn't even six months old and it desperately needs to go the opposite direction of where wow was still going after 6 years....

Maybe all the prospective players looked up picks of the sage top tier armor sets and went to a game that offered a better reward for 30 days /played than the visage of a drunk who just crawled out of a dumpster :/

Lol, whats the problem? What a stupid thing to say. The problem is Bioware caused this population problem we shouldn't now have to may even MORE money to fix it. This an MMO and at the moment on my server there is almost no multilayer what so ever because there is literally no one online. Since I'm already paying for something that I don't get I certainly don't expect to be forced to pay more to fix it.

"One of the problems we’re running into right now is kind of a classic MMO problem, which is that our overall population of players has not changed, but our peak concurrent users has changed," Erickson told NowGamer following last week's 1.2 Legacy update."

Oh, please, If you believe this mumbo jumbo..you're a fool. It's a classic problem for BAD mmos that people buy your game, play for a few weeks, see that it's bad, then quit. Take off the Tryhard pants and admit that you guys have lost hundreds of thousands of subs, and it's only going to get worse from here.

For the continued success of SWTOR, I do hope BW are working on the server population issue now. By their own admission, they would not want to tie-in any server transfers with the release of a new patch, so when it happens it will be happening some time after the release of a new content patch and before the next release.

Basically, if we hear nothing then I imagine this will not be addressed until some time after 1.3 release.
