That is what i don't understand mate, hence i made the comment "can the bar be set even lower?"

What is not clear is even with your limited game time *** have you been doing with it? just walking around and opening up the map and looking at the scenery?

This game is so easy to level makes the Asian MMOS look like 24/7 grinds

Asian MMO's are 24/7 grinds.

Well before they even mentioned legacy I had a leveling plan.

In beta i played my preferred class Sentinal. I learned that that class needed the very best gear to solo effectivly.
With that in Mind I knew i needed Kira and T7 with the best gear available as well as my Sentinal.
I started in early access with a Sage. Got him to 50 before New Years He is also a 400/400/400 Cybertech
Then I wanted an easy class for warzones so I made a Trooper/Commando. Got him to 50 Before the end of January He is also an Armstech 400/400/400

Next was a Smuggler he is currently Into Chapter 3 and Biochemist 400/400/400
Got Bored with him so I made a BH/Merc He has no trade skills and is lvl 36
I also have a wee Consular who will be a shadow once I forget the consular story LOL

I am now leveling a Sentinal He is level 37 and working on Synthweaving

With that I think I am Legacy Level 25 or 26 somwhere in there.

I guess I am fortunate with regards to SWTOR as I live alone so the entire weekend I CAN spend playing the game.

Since early access I have taken at least 2 MONTHS off from the game. Its only since about 1 week before 1.2 released that I have been playing again.

I always new that i would need Max characters for crafting perposes so YES i raced there as fast as possible so I could FARM MATS easily for my ALTS.This was my plan at the start. It just turns out that it also works to get me a free month for my efforts and a free vanity pet LOL....

You see, I'm an altoholic (and I took a break a week before 1.2 came out). I currently have:

43 Assassin
37 Sniper - Same server
33 Commando- Same Server
32 Bounty Hunter - Same Server
21 Shadow
19 Guardian
14 Gunslinger - Same Server
12 Sorcerer. - Same Server

Just go balls to the wall. Even if you don't get the 30 days, at least have the satisfaction of giving it your all.
You got a level 43, you can make it in time! you can do it... you can do it!
:P

How will that be good a LOT of people will not be able to get it because they simply havent been here as long.

How about instead of tossing a childish tantrum because you didnt get it be happy for those who did? Is it that hard to stop thinking only of yourself? Just never ceases to amaze me how people can be so jealous and envious.
You miss the main gripe by a country mile..... Why should players who upped and left the game, many of which came to the forum and ranted nothing but DDOOO!!!111!!!MMM to us all, told us how crap the game is, how bug ridden it was, how the performance sucks etc etc... then wanted everyone to know they were unsubbing in discust at BW and the game... many using every expletive known to man... and not just on these forums etither.

But heyho.. its ok BW loves them still .. so much so they ignore the loyal people who have followed the game since it was annoumnced, played/tested Beta, help out on the test servers and pay every month no matter what debacle is thrown at them next.. (a la 1.2, continuous downtime, poor performance etc etc etc).. No they offer those others a nice cushy free access week with then the added value of 30 days access on top cos they got something that matched some idiotic marketing teams criteria... screw the ones with lives but who want to play and pay the same amount each month as anyone else... maybe those players should also just rage quit in a fit of expletives.. then BW might think to send them an email to tempt them back cos all is forgotten....

I cudnt care less about the 30 days etc, I dont qualify cos I too have a family and a life away from my PC.. but your damn right im peeved that some cruddy rage quitter who thought it was cool to do nothing more than to bash the game and insult others just cos they didnt agree with quitting etc, gets a cushy free ride..... DOUBLE STANDARDS SMELL FOUL.. but this is my last month anyway, there are other things that take my interest alot more more than SWTOR... nice game.. terrible service.. poor performance and ridiculous, desperado marketing ploys sooo early on in the game to me are beginning to speak volumes.

I too have been too busy to reach either criteria of lvl 50 or legacy lvl 6. I have however kept my sub going since day 1. I have decided just not to play anymore as it appears that BW (and EA) have decided that players who have not met those criterias arent worth it. It's BS and if you kept a sub the entire time you should be rewarded equally.

I have been playhing MMOs for years and this is one of the worst PR moves that I have personally seen. I will not be supporting this game if this is how it will be done.

No one who is unsubbed is getting free game time. The person who posted who isn't playing still PAID to play through the criterion time for the free 30 days. He had a level 50 months ago, he WAS still a paying customer on their rolls, they can't exactly look at forum posts to see all the omgzor, I hate SWTOR, I'm going to GW2 or D3 people, ergo he gets 30 free days because he was still a paying customer when they did the database sweep of paying customers who met the criteria. It's not like they read our minds and know who disses the game on forums. Honestly, you can't have it both ways.

You're rage quitting over 30 free days given out to reward people who play the most hours....hardly a desperate marketing ploy. Out of my fairly casual guild, many of whom started with me in late February, only a few of us hadn't reached either level 50 or legacy level 6, and we're working to help the one without the legacy level get there. But feel free to emoragequit like the guy who got the 30 free days and hasn't been playing. You're not being penalized, nor is he being rewarded for being a douchebag. He simply met the criteria. No need to hate on BW over this one. Save it for your legitimate concerns regarding content and bugs that need fixing.

And it's an excellent marketing ploy. We're all really happy with it. Even the people who didn't quite have the legacy for it are working their butts off to get it in my guild since they extended the deadline to the 22nd. They can't please everyone.

I did not miss it at all. Most of the customers aren't complaining. You are the leader of a guild and you are quitting over this? What about all the people in your guild? Youd throw them away over $15? I think you should listen to yourself for a bit. You are being unreasonable.
