Add in continued over-head of EA per month and the amount of money they need to pay George Lucus per month.

Usually for a company to start seeing a profit, they need to make about 30 percent over the cost. Overhead in a large company is a lot. They are paying for other game development, games that didn't do so well, human resources, equipment, advertising, etc.

SWTOR was suppose to generate a lot more money than it has. From an investment point of view, it is a big failure. The stock was at $20-24 dollars pre-launch. It is at a 52 week low now.
lol went thru all that just to prove nothing and cast bad assumptions, poor ppl...

Gotta love people whom are bad at maths lol. Yep stocks have dropped and trust me it has been determined as a bad investment and the investors will not be putting anymore money into the game, alot of people are selling EA stocks the game has had impact on their company as a whole. Not to mention the damage to name Starwars from this abomination to it gene. People dont understand that the game isnt a sucess and it actually doesn't even have 1.7 million paying subscribers and it about to have less next month alot less.

This game will not go anywhere, ya sure EA has a very very bad reputation and I hate them probably as much as the next guy, but the IP alone will keep this game alive and who knows, maybe a better company will help bioware out

You kidding me, that not what the investors are saying, get your facts straight. There is not alot more people there has been no growth in the game at all infact it is decreasing and if people want to go into denial then that is your choice but in the stockmarkets it doesnt lie and when people say SWTOR is a bad investment sell your Stock in EA now they arnt saying it for heresay.

1.2 and the events after it have damaged the repetation of bioware/ea more than you want to accept, many players are angry they were not included in the free offer of 30 days, which was a ploy to increase sub numbers to make a better finanical report because as long as people are subed they can claim it as sub numbers even if your not paying. It was a ploy to bring back players whom had already quit and when people whined and whine they expanded it to keep them happy but original reason for it was a marketing ploy.

You wont be when actually get to end of it, the solo player game is fine but it when you see what it really has to offer then you will know why so many have left.

A lot of the people are just leaving to random games like League of Legends (My son just started playing that). He left WOW about a year ago, played Aion briefly, and played an Inquisitor on my SWTOR account till level 6 and bailed.

Other than the MMO addicts, I think the online community is ready for something more than the "safe" model of MMO that exists now.

The people who are leaving are disenfranchised WoW players who didn't get what they wanted when they bought ToR. No LFD, learn to make friends, I'll take a guess at end game gear not being handed out as well which will cause these players to leave. Good riddance. The end part is just a guess though and I could be wrong

You guys take this **** far too seriously.

It's a computer game. If you like it, play it. If it dies, it dies.
