In a 24 hour period:
1st quit - 15 minute warzone lockout
2nd quit - 1 hour warzone lockout
3rd quit - 48 hour warzone lockout (get a new computer if you can't stay connected).

If nothing else this should definitely be a mandatory criterion for rated war zones.

You can't lock people out for excessive amounts of time considering people do d/c so if they left one bg and d/ced fom the next, they are locked out for a ridiculous amount of time.

This will just lead to people quitting altogether.

d/c is not a problem in this game. Get a better computer or a better spouse that can let you play for 15 minutes at a time. No need to punish other people with a serial quiter or d/c'er.

Sorry but if you can't stay connected to the game you are just as bad as the quiters.

Excessive.

I think the vast majority of intentional d/c's would be stopped by simply binding them to the WZ they left - locking them out of ANY WZ until the one they left is over.

That brings the choice down to 'play this WZ' or 'NO WZ's until it ends'.

We don't need deserter punishments, we need incentives to stay in a WZ even if one loses. Which means reverting rewards to pre-1.2.

Pre 1.2 there was the same thing, mass quitting to find a carrier team so not sure how that's help us.

There should be some kind of penalty to discourage bailing as soon as it goes bad. We don't bribe ppl to keep to the law, we punish those who break it, sometimes u need discipline.

Also Iv never disconnected from a wz and shouldn't be punished for ur hardware errors, nor your spinelessness should u quit when we go 1 goal down.

TBH an easy fix would be to bring back the 10 games quest.

As a casual, (work>gym>games), guy I really liked my 10 games 5 sessions of week for the weekly/dailies.

Personally I limit myself to 1 quit per week per toon. Sometimes there's a match that's just SO bad...

Now I've changed that rule. If I come into a match because someone quit and the match is more than 75% over and looks hopeless, I do leave sometimes because the rewards are 0-0-0. Better to leave and let it end faster for everyone.

I like much of the new structure, but the lack of rewards for replacing a quitter needs to be addressed. Don't need what everyone who played the whole match got - just SOMETHING for my time/efforts.
