I could not disagree more with this thread. If you have the time to get to 50, there should be things to do besides dailes. More PvP or PvE content is needed.
Relabeling future patches as Expansions, just like EA Louse said a year ago. Who got the last laugh?

Lack of content is a matter of content limitations all devlopers have when releasing a new game. Content = Cost, that is an inescapable reality.

Go back look at WoW when it was first released (I had an account within a week after release), people were whining about lack of content every single day - all day. It took nearly 3 years for the first xpac. Now 7 years Years later, WoW has had a chance to add a few expansions and lots of updates.

I am not dumping on WoW, WoW is a great game in its own right.

Here is comes SWOTR and some people expected it to have the same amount of content as WoW, impossible without charging not only more the game, but more for the monthly subscription in order to recoup the enormous cost.

Of course the same people complaining about content, would then be complaining about the cost. In the end, game developers can never win with some people.

People want a Rolls-Royce for the price Ford Fiesta.

There comes a point in almost all mmos, when all you have left is grinding. Grinding for gear, grinding for rep or grinding for PvP.

Bioware made a story based MMO so when the story halts at level 50 then of course there won't be much to do. That is why they made EIGHT different classes with EIGHT UNIQUE AND DIFFERENT STORYLINES.

If you play this game and story isn't a major factor for you then this MMO isn't intended for you. But for the rest of us story matters and there are 8 different ones to experience and they are not short either. So unless you have played through all 8 stories then a lack of content really isn't a valid complaint. I am currently playing through the Sith Inquisitor storyline and when I reach level 50 I will be more than happy to play through as a Jedi on different planets with a different story.

And yet at release it still had far more content than SWTOR.

No it did not.

I have an account with WoW since 2004. The only thing different when WoW was first released, was that leveling took a *very long time*. Now that has even changed. The difference in the amount of content would be negligible.

Yes it did.

I don't count each of the conversation options as an independent quest, which you'd have to start doing to even compare the two.

You cannot make a claim like this without proof comparing the two. Otherwise you are talking just to hear yourself talk.

Number of quests; number of dungeons.

WoW crushed SWTOR, especially so in the former (nevermind that WoW dungeons were more interesting for being less linear).

Glorified quest text does not change the underlying content. They even took it a step further and spat on all the explorers by dropping red shields everywhere.

SWTOR has larger areas and more to interact with and has more awesomeness.
See how that makes no sense? That would be due to a lack of evidence. Get evidence then I will say you are correct.
