Others love reading the book repeatedly. Personally, it looks as if there may be tons of stuff for me to do both as an Alt, and as a 50th. Uncertain, but the Companion stories seem to play out if you get Approval high enough, and that is about 5 added stories per class. And each Alt may choose several different paths, so even the same class may have a different outcome than another.

Well, the 'eight classes' thing isn't really a good answer to the complaint. Of course, you could say it isn't valid because of ranked PvP, the new operation with harder/more advanced mechanics (according to Bioware, anyway), professions actually being something which matters now that we have critcrafted orange gear being better than purples (if you rip out the mods), uh. There's quite a lot to do, but since Bioware also has to provide for people who don't like leveling alts, a valid answer is not 'look at all the alts you can have!'.

It's a story based MMO, meaning the core of the game is story. That's what it was touted as and that's what it is. Without the story it would be another regular MMO. So joining this MMO means you accepted the fact that the story is what will be maintaining your interest. If the story is not what you came for (as it turns out some people didn't come for it) then you will be disappointed and will want to unsub.
