Well, I'm giving up looking for the refining node on Imp side for now. Getting too late. Probably resume the search when I get up if it hasn't been found yet. Wouldn't rule out Korriban just yet. Didn't know what it looked like while I was looking around, could of easily missed it.

Spoiler on the cliff close to the river exhaustion area. slightly north from the lone, neutral mob flying down the river. just east of house Thule (republic quest area). It will be on the northmost undiscovered hex (no map to discover there) if you'll check the map. Just slightly to the north from the Juuran mountains if i remember well

Thank you SOOOOOOO much Alec! Over 8 hours of scouring the planet, and I had more or less given up hope! Read the directions, tried one more time, found one within 15 minutes!!! Now I just need 3 more to finish up mine and my guildmasters crystals!
