I did the can your run it thing to see if I could play this game. It said the game would work very well on this computer, the bar was all the way to the end. I finally got into early access today and began to play but the game was crazy laggy. However, I am playing this game on an external hard drive which I though might make it laggy, but brought my hard drive over to a friends house and tried it on his amazingly good computer and it worked just fine. Any ideas?

Specs:

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8300 @ 2.50GHz
Video Card: Intel(R) G45/G43 Express Chipset 1.7 GB
Pixel Shader Version: 4.0
Vertex Shader Version: 4.0
RAM: 4.5 GB
Windows 7

Thanks for any help!

it's an integrated graphics card. Not for gaming that is.

Star Wars: The Old Republic requires a video card that has a minimum of 256MB of on-board RAM as well as support for Shader 3.0 or better. Examples include:

ATI X1800 or better
nVidia 7800 or better
Intel 4100 Integrated Graphics or better

Your Intel integrated chipset can't address the graphical needs of the game . You'll need to upgrade your GPU hardware to meet or exceed that of the stated minimum requirements.
