It's week, not a month.

Having said that, i still believe the effort to what amounts to equipment your alts will outgrow extremely rapidly isn't in line with the reward.

I was confused by how purchasing the gear worked too. In order to redeem my freebie Legacy item, I could ONLY redeem the gear if I was the appropriate class with the token. So, I couldn't use my token to get myself a gun to give to my Bounty Hunter. I have to give the token to my bounty hunter so she can use it to get a gun?

Either way, I concur, you get orange guns before even go to the 2nd planet with the vendors, so... isn't this gear entirely pointless at that point then?

I suppose. It depends how many alts you already have though. I think the mentality here is that this system is supposed to be for down the road, even though it came out with 1.2 you're not supposed to get everything right off the bat. The prices could be lowered a tad, but the goal here is to definitely have this system last start paying off 6 months down the road.

Itemization director needs to be FIRED. That is all.

Lv50 heroic dailies with Lv44 endboss that drops Lv42 green/blue items, makes sense? lol
Accuracy on PvP gear? WOOOT

WoW had the same problem until a wise man named Indalamar came on the scene...what needs to be done here? More posts on the forums until someone at BioWare/EA learns about MMO itemization?

Nobody wants to farm a week of dailies for an item you use for 5 hours.

i understand what your saying, but to be honest ,i dont think there is 1 thing on the whole legacy unlock page that isnt way overpriced...if i had 10 million credits right now,i still wouldnt waste 1 million on that droid.they hyped up all these great things, that most of the community either cant afford,or just arent dumb enough to spend that many credits on such trivial things.if they want us to enjoy the new content, they should at least put it in reach of the majority of the community, otherwise it was just a waste of codeing.

Should be pointed out that its cheaper to get a full set of social gear and mod that out which essentially allows Inquisitors and Consulars to laugh their way to the fleet.

Even if it does look stupid to run around in a slave outfit... heh get someone with cybertech and you can have that set sporting purples for the same price as ONE of those legacy items.

THAT right there is ultimately stupid.
This stuff is supposed to encourage folk to roll alts and make it easier to do so... now your charging people an easy million to get a complete set that is cosmetically garbage, inferior to augmented versions and quickly obsolete.

When slicing was broken and yielding insane income amounts the prices for the legacy equipment would still be too much... expecting characters to have millions at level 10 is just beyond stupid AND to spend it on sub-par gear ?

In the time it takes to buy this stuff you could literally level alts of your own to gear you AND end up better off in the long run.

Yep. It's way too expensive. I don't know if there's other ways to obtain the legacy and inheritance gear, but from commendations alone it's just not worth the effort. I'm better off just getting some credits, and buying some gear from the GTN, or just modding out an orange piece.

Maybe if the gear would last that character for 20 levels...but it doesn't. Even then, it's not like it's hard to get decent gear as you level.

Basically, while the legacy gear is a good idea, the cost just doesn't make it worth the effort when equal gear is significantly easier to obtain.

So the legacy MH isn't even mod-able ? Does the same go for the chest and other items bought with a constriction kit? they're all like useless level 14 blue items???!

This thread has me a bit concerned , what is the point of the PTS if BW is not going

to listen or at least respond to players or is it just to make sure it won't crash the live

game . Oh well i've got about a week left to my sub, convince me to stay BW
