They are facing decline in subscriptions in the tens of thousands, and thus they have to try and bring some people back. Face it, it's all about money.

I'll happily never pay them another cent.

Regards.
Please provide your empirical evidence

When I call my ISP and tell them I want to cancel the service they usually offer me all kind of promotions, and is not like the company is about to die or anything, It's called customer retention, not desperation. And it's pretty much a standard in companies that know what they are doing.

But again, the guild wars fanbois will try to spin it any way thay can.

i believe this is correct, and no there is no source...with several major games coming in the next few months and people already leaving in droves, bioware has to do something to keep its customers.this game will lose even more subscribers if server transfers dont come within the free 30 days.there just wont be any reason for lots of us to stay.

ya but i bet if a lot of their customers were cancelling at an alarming rate, they'd start giving out promotions or free service to everyone. people seem to forget the fact that theyre offering free play if people come back and resub. its desperation
