Its nice to see a bit of support towards Bioware, in all fairness I wasnt overly overjoyed to come home from work only to find the servers were down for yet another issue.

But, I understand that these things happen, and while its frustrating to watch and wait, I only appreciate it more when I play.

Personally i think they're doing a great job, it can't be an easy task to manage all what goes on behind the curtain no matter how skilled you are at something, sometimes things just turn sour. The fact that they've given everyone an extra day to make up for it shows that they actually give a damn about their customers.

Keep up the good work I say

Why would you hire him as an Defense lawyer? He clearly stated his profession, and he didn't write about a law degree...

You did read it, right?

They talked about this issue before. Bugs have a priority list. Because, at the time, only a handful of people were on SOA (hard/nightmare), it was lower in priority than the other bugs. However, now, as HM/NM SOA becomes accessible to more and more players, that specific bug is higher in priority, and they're working on fixing it. They also have to be cautious as to not cause any other bug that would cause even more damage than the current one.

Alright how about the daily? Something thats suppose to be done by players everyday doesn't get high on the list of things to fix?

I'm actually rooting for Bioware. I give them my cash just like you. I want the Star Wars franchise to succeed. This was just a terrible excuse for the problems we have in game. That's all I'm saying. I like to hear people say w00ps we really blew it, and then move on with acceptance they blew it and a drive not to blow it anymore. That makes a good company in my opinion. The free 30 days is a great start but free time is useless if they never address the problem and eventually fix things.

Except that they DID fix it. If they left it in the 1.1.5 state, then there'd be problems. However, they addressed the issue, and fixed it, and gave us a free 24 hours to boot.

Problems happen, heck some devs managed to delete their game during a server maintenance, so bad stuff happens is actually a perfectly understandable excuse in this case.

I'm glad they fixed it. However, a Dev deleting their game during a maintenance and chalking it up as "Bad stuff happens" and not taking responsibility for an incompetent move is bad for growth and learning. Computers don't make mistakes, people make mistakes. Accept responsibility and don't blame Murphy. Blame Gremlins or something more entertaining if you're gonna tell stories.

I did a little Java testing for a co-op when I was in school. Every week, we ran the same exact thing over and over again trying to break an insurance companies website. Every once in a while, we broke it but never changed a thing anywhere.

The reason it broke is because the way the data changed in the database or how fast the database opened or closed or the way the Dev's had a certain line of code. The list can go on and on. This happened in code that has maybe a million lines, just think how much crap with millions of lines of code.
It's easier to get forgiveness than it is to get permission

Every company and every game has problems. They all do. I love the game and enjoy playing it. That is all that matters. People who complain the most about every item that isnt to their liking is probably the type who jump to every MMO and complain about each and every one of them. They will never be happy.....
