Two points:

the engine sucks for an mmo. You do not pick an engine which has problems with massive. But this probably is not the fault of the software team.

The real beef lies with the design and pr. Ilum was a shameful travesty. they were told their implementation would be terrible. lack of premade 50s on test means poor testing. Poor testing = poor patches.

And their pr department, by all appearances, has never played a game in their life.

They hired the best PvP devs in the business. I heard this once. Can we see some credentials on that statement?

They asked the devs, they said they were the best.

Why would anyone defend EA

It's like saying Bobby Kotick is doing great things for video gamers everywhere. The very idea is so absurd it's making my head spin.
BIOWARE:We don't serve their kind here!
LUKE: What?
BIOWARE: Your Australians. They'll have to wait outside. We don't want them here.

while i agree with some of what you say, i can't agree on the idea that they've been good at handling the situation and keeping us informed.

i always feel in the dark, i never know what's going on.. one moment something's happening out of the blue, next moment something else is going on... stuff is in patches that doesn't say so, stuff's out at the last moment. ping pong, chaos.

small twitter posts i don't think is a good solution, many people don't even use twitter for one thing and most of the discussion is very short and vague.

i'd like to see more interaction on the forums from the bioware staff.
