Oh, wait, that's right, we haven't.
For the most part, yes. They have been weekly. If you take all the times it was bi-weekly and average it out, especially.

Proof? Because at last count it was 1.7 million subs and rising.

Oh, wait, that's right, the game doesn't support dynamic content.
The game is a BioWare game. Don't like that like the rest of us do? Don't let the door hit ya...

The only challenge in PvP is PvP itself. If you think it should be otherwise...well, I've got an infraction already, so I'll save my opinions on this new breed of QQ PvPers we've seen...

Legacy leaves more questions than answers and only appeals to a very small portion of the player base. Gear changes, especially in PVP, have people up in arms. The 11th hour removal of a key feature, ranked WZ, with an ETA of "Soon™" have PVP players angry. Broad sweeping swings of the nerf bat. End game isn't much better than it was. Social structures are still piss poor. And now bad PR over "loyalty".
Yeah, I get your picture. Pessimism must suck. I'm generally not optimistic, actually. However, you have to consider the GOOD with the bad to be a realist. All I see is QQ...

Giving away a full month of time to existing, paying, customers immediately following a content patch is unheard of.
Subs haven't been declining, unless you have proof? Because all I've seen so far is Chicken Littles misinterpreting the typical MMO "launch surge/dropoff" as declining subs when they're actually increasing.

I just watched the same thing happen in RIFT a year ago. People misinterpreted the surge/dropoff curve as they were declining when they topped a million, then a month and a half later, they topped 2 million. Subs were increasing that whole time.

So you've already done the new flashpoint, finished the new operation, tested the new warzone? How can you say it is garbage when you have nowhere near enough time to explore them? You need to actually complete all the content before you are qualified to say it is garbage.

For the record, I thought the Kaon flashpoint was awesome. It was different to what WoW had to offer. The zombies in there are heaps better than the ones in WotLK.

Yes - Keeping my sub and appreciating the 30 day perk.
It's a refreshing change from the standard copy cat, sword and sorcery, orc/dragon vs human & elf MMOs out there. I like the storydriven path of the classes. Yes it is more of a soloist/single player type game. But the truth of it is, 80%+ of your time is spent soloing while you lvl and stuff. Your left to fend for yourself till you get to top level so, what does it matter? Even then, your pretty much left to yourself except for maybe raids or pvp.

I like the Sci-fi and the theme. And I think the 1.2 patch was great. So I'm sticking with it. And I still hold a WoW account to, held that since 2006. Play what you like, not just what the lemmings think is "Popular".
Who is this doin' this synthetic type of alpha, beta, psychedelic funky?

i do enjoy this game alot and have had since launch but i dont get chance to play loads, maybe 3 or 4 hours a week at most
i have 3 characters all in the 30 range of levels,i know im not a hardcore player but dont mind paying the subs as i like to support things and i do think the game is fun and has good potential.
But after findiing out about the free game time for people with level 50 accounts, its left a really sour taste in my mouth, and am seriously considering cancelling now, im subbed up to end of this month and if nothing changes i probably wont renew it
its not because of the money, can afford that and i accept its an mmo and has got subs and i realise i am probably in the lower percentage of players who dont get to play as much so they can afford to pee us off without losing much of the player base.
but if bioware cant respect everyone who has been with them since launch they certainly dont deserve my support back

Yes because i enjoy the game. In a year from now the game will even be better. I think it has a lot potential of being long lasting MMO. Bugs happen, content runs dry and there is qqing on every board of an mmo. This is no different here.
Duct tape is like the force, it has a light side and a dark side and it holds the universe together.

I like the game, I like my guild and I enjoy the updates.

Why wouldn't I keep subbed?

Is a good game to play 1 month, after that not enough subscription.

Expose your opinions
I'm not certain. A lot will depend on my friends and what they choose to do. I came here with them and if they leave I will, too.

The game is good. Very good, in fact. It's still lacking, though. As others have mentioned it is very repetitive. With only 4 classes per side there isn't a lot of opportunity to see things you haven't before. I have 3 level 50's already and am closing in on the 4th.

Also, and I'm probably going to be in the minority on this, there really isn't much to do. The game lacks quality of life stuff, in my opinion. It's all about the leveling. I know it's Star "Wars" but you're telling me there isn't a pleasure planet where there will be some kind of fun to be had?

I'm a night person. All the pretty baubles and add-ons in the world will not matter if the servers are dead. I spent a few hours on Quesh one night, alone. (OK, I won't mention about running around in my underwear and singing camp songs at the top of my lungs...) Without other people around there is no "Massive Multiplayer" part of the game.

My friends are already on hiatus. I don't know what they'll opt to do. I'm hoping that 1.2 will reinvigorate the game for them, but I'm thinking it will not.

Maybe we'll take a break for a while and come back when there's new stuff to be had and, hopefully, more people to have it with.

Player count is dropping. Just log into any server and travel to a few planets. They are basically ghost towns.
There isn't much to lure new players to the game if they are greeted by dead servers and nobody to group with.

Look at all the servers that have light load even at peak hours.

If they shutter some servers and do free merges that will help in the short term, but they need more content and need to fix the game engine IO issues.

I'm locked into a 6 month sub, but I haven't played in over a month. My main server as well as my Alt server basically died. Nobody is ever online.
I'm taking a break before I pick a new server and re-start over again. Third major re-roll, woo-hoo!

I might re-sub on a monthly basis if they fix the dead servers. Also, they need to somehow increase the server player capacity. This game doesn't feel like a MMO, it feels like a single player RPG with multiplayer bolted on at the last second and they still charge you a monthly fee.

Ill be keeping my sub up indefinitely. For the price what else can you get such enjoyment out of for $15 a month? I spend more than $15 a month on coffee at the gas station. I get way more enjoyment out of this game.

Thanks for providing this. Someone posted the link in the forums pre-launch and I'd forgotten where it was. It's good to hear it again.
