Am I missing something? Legacy gear is *bleeping* expensive

It wouldn't be SO bad if some of the 150,000+ credit orange gear wasn't models alreadey in game. The more expensive Sith Inquis robe, for instance, i've seen somewhere around mid level.
Good grief...

The Legacy gear(with the exception of belt/bracer) is pretty much worthless junk anyway unless you want re-skinned sub-par non-augment custom gear OR just want to torture yourself to get insanely overpriced/timesinked blue gear that is bound to legacy yet still ridiculously class/armor type limited.

My mind is literally boggled trying to figure out why they would waste so much time and effort on such a useless system.
It may not have the augment slot, but it's still moddable gear. And it will do until my armor making alts can make orange gear that has the augment slot.

Well since Bioware promised some exciting Legacy related rewards with 1.2, I wonder when they are actually going to deliver them? The stuff that's already available surely isn't what they were referring to was it?

Overpriced, underspecced and underwhelming, a true Bioware failure to deliver on what could have been a really good feature.......

9.5/10. One of the few subtle ones left these days.

On a side note, that's absolutely rediculous, 200 daily commendations = a piece of level 14 blue gear that almost instantaniously dissapears is pointless. :I

For the people who don't know what to do with all their commendations this is a nice way to encourage them to play an alt.
And at 34 daily commendation a day, you can get 200 pretty quick. Also you can mail the legacy construction kit to your alt so you can buy the stuff with that character.
So sayeth the Lord

This thread only proves that you really want it, but aren't prepared to grind for it.
Time-wise it would be quicker to level up another toon on that faction and THEN use it to twink that toon.

It is an insanely high cost, there's no way around that.
Real Star Wars space combat please, not Star Wars Fox! Maybe some PvP and flight too?

The time it takes you to get 200 comms you could be playing your alt already and ridiculously out-level the gear that you would be getting making it useless anyway.
