Bioware really messed up on this one...
My views exactly, I am VERY curious to see what BW has in store to fix this mess. Unless, of course, their intention is to have zerg-pace-based PvP TDM facerolling, in which case I will either move on to another game or get some fresh air! I'm not one for all the nay-saying and QQ unsubbin threats, but this change has made PvP no fun at all for me.

Well they made PvP even more un heroic, now you will die in 3 seconds not 4.
My guess is they did not buff defense only DPS.And they killed WZ with the new epic fail medal/wz comendation system making everyone leave/quit. Yeah they did a great job again.

Welcome to Wotlk 2.0?

Do you think the high damage you see is coming from the new expertise change?
Adlez - Operative
Notorioùs - Sith Marauder (50) (not used)
Adlezz - Jedi Sage (50) (not used)
Notorius - Jedi Guardian (50) (not used)

Considering I went from 12% damage increase to 23% damage increase AND went from 12% mitigation to 9% mitigation, expertise is a HUGE factor.

How so?
I have
22.09% damage increase and
18.08% damage reduction

With people making up those numbers i am not surprised everyone dies from two hits in these forums.

I love the changes, pvp should be about dps not healing! The real question how pvp degenerated to healing contest in TOR.

I ve been trying to keep with the changes and reading the forums. So far what I see is a lot of people crying... again.

My suggestion is to wait till the dust settles down a bit before storming the forums spreading possible misinformation about 9k crits or 0 commendation o god knows what else.

Give it a week for them to run the numbers on their database with more people getting full BM and then we can talk again.

The way I see it, is that there are many factors affecting this. For one many people were used to rakata gear in pvp and now they just get destroyed without the expertise... well they should have known better about the risks!

Also many people were so used to just stand there and heal without even moving despite having a dps on them that now it looks bad... I even remember 2 dps on healer and he would not care... (No other healer in the area and no tank guard).

On the other hand marauders who were among the more skilled class in the game and had to some extend adjusted to the overheal pre 1.2 are now at a better situation as they can keep doing what they did only better.

Things might need to be adjusted I am not saying all healers are wrong in their assessment, I am just suggesting to cooldown stop all the "i ll quit blah blah" childish behavior ( if you really want to quit do so, no need to come to forums to whine about it like a five year old) and wait.

great patch.
next patch please remove all skills exept 1 that makes 100% damage.
kill everyone at sight with on hit. all pvp players want this. we dont care about healing, tactics, cc or teamplay.
and please remove all warzone objectives - oh wait... much better idea: give us a second skill that kills the whole enemy team with one click.

dumbest patch i ever seen

The only thing that needed adjusting was the healing, they should’ve left the damage the-f**k-alone.

As a Sorc healer its pretty pointless, might aswell go glass cannon – although most the “cannon” was also removed for us, now were just glass…

It seems now to have opened up huge disparities in classes that were minimal prior. I'm not enjoying it much, but it's still new to me. I'm not against change but I did enjoy the pace of PvP prior to this, I did not see it as a huge issue, this seems more focused on geared players being able to solo and crush much more than teams looking for weaknesses. I could be wrong this is just from playing tonight a few hours.
