Please link to an article where a Bioware/EA employee advertised patch 1.2. and specifically RWZ's to people who don't play the game, with the intention of tricking them to sign up for that specific feature. That, my little friend, would be a bait and switch.

No excuses, or pathetic attempts to evade the issue. A link please.

What we have here is a development team that have decided not to release a broken feature with a patch. That's all it is. I know you're a delicate little flower who's been traumatised by this, but it's not the end of the world. Really it's not.

Do you truly believe that "thousands" of people are going to simply quit and take their money elsewhere? If you do, you are deluding yourself. Besides, BW & EA have probably planned on losing a small percentage of people because of this change. However, with proper planning and strategy, they'll more than likely replace that percentage lost in short period of time.

Unbelievable.

Instead of acknowledging you fully understand what he's trying to say, you go the usual answer-less troll route and call grammar police over basically nothing.

You sir, need to spend more time cleaning your cave and less time on the surface.

Heh. Yeah, because a company who is using a bait and switch scheme advertises it like that...

Schisters, co.: "Come into our store because we have free beer! But not really, hahaha, we're just tricking you so that you'll come into the store, not find what you want, and then buy something while you're here."

Take off the blinders, dude. BW just wants your money and despite their promises THEY DO NOT HAVE THE ABILITY to deliver.

No, what we have is a development team who couldn't be upfront with their community.

This is what you get.

Listen, I don't care that we don't have the PvP content now. I appreciate and understand their desire to pull it for now so they can iron things out.

The part that gets me upset, and every other resubber, is how they handled the situation the way they did.

Do you really believe it was unintentional to wait until the last minute before announcing this?

I have no problems with waiting for the content, it's leading the community on to believe the content is there until the very last possible second.

I'd imagine over 50% of the resubbs were because of the PvP content. Hell, most people I know resubbed solely because of it.

Yes, I do. And you can substantiate it easily just by reading all the posts in this thread of people who have unsubbed because of this.

1.2 was supposed to be the miracle patch but it has turned out to be another failure to deliver by Bioware.

This is the first post in this thread to make 100% sense.
