Then at the last minute tell them you won't be building their deck for an undisclosed amount of time. Tell me you wont get sued for that.
LMAO, you've clearly never dealt with building contractors before.

It's hard for me to get an idea of the impact on the greater community. All my communication with people who aren't my guildie RL friends are the other PvPers we invite to our vent or chat with in game or on the server forum. So I probably get a pretty skewed view of the community.

Most of these people are the top PvPers (which I'm not) and most active PvPers (which I probably am) on the server, and a lot of the regulars are pissed. I don't think I'd be off saying this was the upcoming feature they were most excited about.

Bioware mishandled it. It seems that they held out to the end in hope that they would be able to launch RWZs with 1.2, when they should have made an announcement earlier that this feature needed more work and would launch with a later 1.2.x update. Obviously, releasing RWZs if they weren't working properly would have been an even bigger disaster, but they could have avoided losing some of the community's faith had they been up front about the possibility of a pushback sooner.

I think part of the problem may be low population servers and getting a ranked wz or a normal wz going on those servers might be hard if the people are split. So, a few fixes that might work that they probably would never do would be A. Let cross-server WZ happen B. merge the servers with the lowest population C. Put in Ranked and watch them and see how they are working then just apply the changes in a patch a week later to solve all the low pop problems D. Don't put in ranked WZs but rank all wzs and just add that number into the game somehow.

And they are routinely sued for this kind of work and pay out huge chunks of cash for similarly mishandling work.

dude you're going to sue bioware for not making an update you're happy with? OK first go sue all the F2P games that ripped you off for all the crappy cash shop content then come back to this game and overlook it then see how bad you want to sue bioware for you 15 dollar subs

This really was the last straw for most PvPers. SWTOR's only chance at success was to even out before D3 comes out, it is far too late for that now, it won't be long until servers are merged and taken off-line.

The game had promise, the execution was pathetic.

R.I.P. SWTOR
I find it comical that you think the PvP playerbase is so huge that it supports this game. It will go on without you.

Face it, if it wasn't for PvPers, PvP would be much more enjoyable.

No, but I don't think a class action lawsuit is beyond reach because:

"The development studio Bioware and Production company EA Games misled consumers to purchase the game: Star Wars: The Old Republic, renew subscriptions to the game, and continue to pay subscriptions for the game by promising to develop and provide major functional features, namely Ranked Warzones, to the live game servers in an update to the game called "Patch 1.2" which were not delivered with the update."

this is one of those situations where they are in a catch 22, put out the ranked WZ and they get it wrong people are pissed, remove it from the patch and people are pissed. I wanna sit here and say i want them to get it right but the day before the patch they announce they are removing it. I gotta say i am finding it harder and harder to defend BIO/EA these days.

this would not work, all things on the PTR are subject to change and you would have to really read through that agreement you signed that nobody reads.
