Please watch it again, you will understand things a lot better. This whole cancellation of such a big part of the patch, a few hours before it hits live servers is wrong on so many levels, I don't know where to start ...

First of all I can describe my frustration in words.
Second I really don't know how you take these decisions (with no logic)

Third I want to say that since I only do pvp all I have waited for was the new gear (something worth playing for...) and to do rated wz's.
Now (hrs before the patch) you decide to tell me that no RWZ's will take place and when they
do come there will be 1st on an 8 man que's.
In order to get the new pvp gear I will need to play 100's of wz's, where as in PVE I could just do few operation get new pve gear and change mods, enchancements...
Then whenever you decide to join for rated wz's I have to do it on an 8 man basis only....

So what you "telling" me is go farm PVE gear, play wz's to get few pieces of WH gear and then que with 7 more people to play rated wz's. So be in a big guild make a schedule every day in order to get your pvp gear....in Underpopulated servers !!!!!!!!!!!!

You are definitely doing something wrong!!!!

Seriously I question if you have any brains, all you do is try to "patch" things up that don't match.

Reposting this because a broke the forum rules in ONE sentence. I have removed the sentence and am reposting because the community deserves to read this. (The only reason it was deleted is because BioWare doesnt like the content of this message)

I think communication could be better and maybe have more details on things, but come on people, they are working on a really tight timeline.

Do you honestly believe that it is absurd that they realized this was a problem a while ago? It's not. Understanding business, and what drives business isn't being cynical, its called using logic and common sense.

There are stakeholders invested in this company. If BioWare fails on a project like this, it impacts quarterly revenues which then affects their income (through investors and subscribers). It is not crazy to believe that BioWare knew about this problem weeks ago, tried pushing their Dev team to fix the problem, BUT made a conscious decision to wait until the very last minute to tell people about the problem (incase it fails).

This IS a dishonest way of doing business, and anybody who is IN business would arrive at only one conclusion.... BioWare is protecting their quarterly profits - this is why they waited until less than 24 hours before 1.2's launch. They got all the new subs they need to meet their Q2 numbers. They will deal with the sub-base lose later. This is how an executive thinks.

Now, to respond to the fools that say "its only 15.99 a month". We are all paying customers / clients, we have the right to expect what is promised on the proposed date... and we surely deserve more of a 'heads-up' then we received if they cannot make their commitments. Just because companies like BioWare make money off millions of clients paying smaller amounts of money instead of one or 2 clients paying a lot, doesn't mean CSAT (customer satisfaction) should hold any less weight. It is THAT attitude thats makes companies fail and why companies liek Blizzard stay strong.

While i sort out the new content in pve I can spend some time working out how to get the War Hero gear in pvp to get myself ready for some sort of ranked Warzones?

A new warzone and more same faction warzones plus a new set of gear are all good improvements on the current pvp. So that is great...

They said one of the features they were looking at implementing was ranked pvp, it isn't ready yet so it will be released later. Fair enough, good call. Keep up the good work, best mmo I've played yet and certainly still subbed and I hope to be for a long time as long as you keep providing the excellent service!

+1 for BW

People just like to complain on here about everything now.
If theyd released it with a thousand bugs the QQ would have been "BIOWARE WHY U RELEASE IT WHEN IT WAS STILL BUGGED!?!??!"

The fact that took steps to avoid that and people still complaining?
People need to learn to chill out.

Why, if you're only interested in ONE aspect of a game did you buy it when it was first released? Not everything is going to be perfect straight away...

I've been lied to, too many times.

There'll be a 7 day grace period (we're sorry you got that impression)

Be the hero in your very own Star Wars saga (as long as you're happy to choose one of the few storyline / darkside / lightside options without bugs that completely halt class story progression)

There aren't any performance issues - it's your low-end computer (we consider fixing performance issues one of our top priorities)

We're giving our customer service droids names (so you don't realise they ARE actually droids that use key words to choose the automate response that may or may not solve your problem)

We're constantly improving our game and our customer service (we haven't changed the method, currency or rate of acquiring PvP gear in over two weeks and we're getting bored)

We're releasing Australian Servers (but you won't be able to play your existing characters on them for another two months. Btw... you don't mind paying to beta test our Xfer function, do you? )

We're constantly improving our product offering (but not fixing the current wall of bugs, the GTN or making any long-term balance changes to the crafting economy)

We'll give you plenty of warning before releasing 1.2 (48 hours is twice the life-span of the average house fly)

Resubscribe and enjoy Ranked Warzones (Oops! But hey, thanks for your money)

For this quality of snow-job, I'd rather save my $15 for a few months and make a personal appointment with John Edwards!

I gotta admit, personally I can firstly appriciate why alot of PvP'ers are really upset cos PvP is a big part of their game experience. they feel special for lvl'ing the whole game in pvp getting the best gear they can to stomp on people. Also why i think alot of the other more casual PvP'ers were looking forward to ranked PvP so they can actually enjoy the whole game an not get picked/stomped on in 5 seconds flat by some kill hungry PvP junkie.

Now if it don't work I gotta admit I'd rather they take some more time to make sure they can release it with out bugs, an lets face it theres plenty of other stuff they are releasing, an tbh could any of you design an make an MMO errm No you couldn't, so stop rage quiting an show some maturity. No MMO comes out perfect, its as simple as that, don't like? don't play MMO's then.

But also it has to be said Bio-Ware, you are starting to be rather unfair with your information you give to us the "PAYING CUSTOMERS", theres no maybe, you OWE US ontime an information an accurate information, an half a days notice is just not exceptable and you should be ashamed of yourselves cos you obviously must have know it wouldn't be ready. Your starting to let yourselves down an tarnishing your reputation with you money grabing con-artist tactics...if ya don't have an answer, THEN SHUT UP! untill you do, its wrong to raise hopes of paying customers/fans, simple as that.
