It's nice to know the community is consistent, though. IF Bioware releases content on schedule in spite of bad bugs, they complain. If Bioware delays content release to fix bad bugs, they complain.
I agree with you brother.. I would rather wait than get something which I will not be satisfied and complain in the future..

It's very good news for me personally. I've just been rerolling from a dead server to our new all favorite tomb of freedon nadd, and in 1.5 weeks I've been at lvl 50 I only managed to get few champion pieces and rest centurion gear. This delay would help me greatly in obtaining full BM set before rated wz hit, while some pronolifepvpwithpremades24/7 scum would get maximum 1 item, thus making difference between us minimum.

Releasing ranked without cross server, would have been a failure in my opinion. I wouldn't think it would require cross server if most servers were very populated, but they're not.

I'm not unsubbing, bit dissapointed though. People quit for 1.2 because they were geared months ago, and there was no progression in the game. Ranked war zones were what many people resubbed for. Night before patch they pull the rug. Good decision from a dev point of view if it wasn't ready but really an appalling customer service one. People feel cheated, and I have sympathy for paying customers.

That you find it amusing baffles me. I don't think it's funny at all, this could kill the game.
WHY SO SERIOUS??? Its a game BRA CHILL OUT!! IF you don't like it quit! Or stay and get owned in WZs

You're going to lose a big number of people here, and rightfully so. I'm not unsubbing, but when Guild Wars 2 comes out.. well, if it's good, don't expect me to renew my subscription. I do not approve of what you did here, Bioware.
This exactly. I wont unsub until I have something else to do.

I don't mind the delay in rated, I mean i'd rather wait for cross realm before doing rated. Because it would really suck with so few people actively PvPing in large groups. But damn, pulling this and not telling people until right before 1.2? I am quite sure SWTOR will lose a lot of credibility AND customers over this sham. A shame really, I enjoy this game. But it needs a lot of work, which apparently the developers can't seem to manage.

(There's a good chance this could even be seen as a con / fraud. Trolololol gimme u'r monies sirs)

Oh, and the worst part is. Rated PVP is now destined for 1.3 which will probably be another 3-5 months....

The best part is: Most people will l"ose" half their gear because they miss out on the mod updates. I personly did not change my mods back, because, well I will be farming hero gear anyway, and from the looks of it it will not take long, sou I can run around in less then ideal stats. Most players did not even know the stat change was going to happen.
Bait and switch: you can farm hero gear but at a microscopic pace.
Now I will have 3 BM sets on my main, and fresh lvl 50 will have more expertise then I do. geart job Bioware.

I agree with this,

in fact, it's probably good the delayed RWZ. I just didn't see them being feasible without cross-server queues.

But why wait so long for the announcement?

They realised ranked solo queing will cause insane amount of QQs, due to games being unwinnable due to unbalanced teams for any reasons: AFKs, griefers, noobs, DCs, crashes and plain not joining the queue when it pops. Obviously it would be the same for all, but the amount of crying over "unfair" losses would be never ending.

The only way to be entirely fair is to have the whole team be responsible for itself, ie. 8 man premades. And this will NOT fly on most servers due to low populations, so they need cross server queing in place.

What SUCKS is that they did not figure this out beforehand, and teat they MISLED us all by promising ranked play in 1.2, including solo ranked.

They WILL pay thru the nose for this, both directly as well inderectly thru damagaed credibility. And yes, obviuosly they're not happy about it, and tho holding ranked back until a feasible system is in place is the only right thing to do, it's gonna cost 'em (and us).

A year from now, when things are smooth and nice, the game will be running along "fine" with 500k subs. It's a shame, tho - couldda been 5M with flawless execution.

Anyhoo, GL bioware, keep working hard. Sincerely.
