They are releasing a new raid and new tier of gear with 1.3, I doubt they will only have a tier last 4 weeks that would be kinda stupid

It doesn't have to be a new full tier. They said 1.3 is going to come out much quicker than 1.2 is, and they said 1.4 will follow shortly after.

Did you not read the Q and A, Gabe said their WILL be a new tier and raid with 1.3. Torhead also has the leaked patch notes. You can believe what you want, but seeing as how 1.2 was supposed to originally come out in Feb, then got moved to march and is now set at the earliest to lost at the end of April I would not get my hopes up.

(Back to the issue of server merger)...Does BW actually believe that 1.2 will fix the pop issue on the servers? It seems a bit naive to think that rolling out 1.2 will solve the problem. When you have, as an example, 100 players start a game and 3 months later there are only 30 left on each server. Those 30 are going to be the ones to stick around. So, why not merge the 30 together with another server so now there will be 60.

I remember faction imbalance was an issue before, but it is all out the window when there is no one to play with or against.

Cross server queuing will help fix the pvp issue on servers, but what about pve?

The problem is it wont matter how fast after 1.2 it comes if 1.2 isnt released for another month. Its still atleast 3 months off for 1.3

Why I enjoy naive people who think Bioware will actually keep a promoise *looks at February, March and Early April 1.2 dates* even if they are on time the problem with the game currently for a lot of people is server populations. The best content won't solve that problem and anyone I talk to about this game who was interested is well aware of the population problem and won't buy until Bioware gets it solved.

Also, Viva the Fatman Server Movement, it seems to grow each day.
Relabeling future patches as Expansions, just like EA Louse said a year ago. Who got the last laugh?

I don't think they think that at all. I think their hope is 1.2 stalls people long enough for them to get mergers out before they lose anyone else.
Meanwhile, in Tera general chat -

"The sad thing is, arguing with fanbois on the forums was more entertaining than their 300 million dollar single player MMO from 2008"

Yeah, I think Rift is now down to 15 NA servers and 7 EU servers after all that 'merging' (or actually just closing servers off) and not done.

Trion didn't do that right away though so why do you expect a game four months (TOR) old to follow suit faster?
