Mark my words. The legacy system will. be. a. failure. Book it.
Yeah... we know dude, they came out and said 'rewards for people who like to play multiple characters', we know its an alt grind feature, apparently you failed to get the memo.

AA's? really lol,you wanna know what AA's are? little grind time sinks for abilitys that end up blurring many classes and developers running out of ideas.

I assume your an Everquest player i dont know if WoW has AA's or not but in EQ2 AA's are time sinks and end up being required among top end guilds just to join, and then there is AA specs etc,nah no thnx, not again.

There are different ways to lvl you know, you can also mix n match it up theres space combat, pvp, flashpoints you don't need to do the same quests you did previously on a different characters you can just do those things or mix n match it with the planet quests and just do the class story its what I am doing. This way its not boring, sure it takes a lot longer....but its not boring.

It's a novel feature, something other companies haven't done yet so I'm going to give Bioware the benefit of the doubt about Legacy..for now anyway. The ability to use any race for any class is a nice touch for those that do enjoy alt-rolling.

Would be nice to have more races to choose from in the first place, but we takes what we can gets.

Because the legacy stuff is the only thing being added.

I like playing alts for multiple reasons.

1) It's not grinding for me, it's fun to learn a new class

2) I can fill any role in my guild to optimize a raid composition.

3) I have the FOTM class ready to make others cry on the forums

4) I get bored of the same role VERY fast. I can stomach healing or tanking maybe a months worth of raiding before I want to kill stuff and with multiple characters, I'm not "that guy" who screams OMG I NEE FOR SPEC 7 GUISE!

5) I heve never whined about other classes really, because I can switch when need be.

6) I always have a ton of money because I have every crafting skill, and can focus on what's selling atht moment.

7) Sometimes, high level gameplay gets boring. Being a lowbie with 5 abilities is fun at times and you get the satisfaction of helping other lowbies who are new to their class/the game. I've made many friends while playing alts.

So yeah. "OMG LEGACY SUKS!" is like, your opinion man.

EDIT: Oh and an no MMO to date has had enough content/long enough grind to keep me playing a single char.

I agree that all the repeat quests are annoying. I just focused on the class story quests and did other stuff to make up the remaining exp I needed.
