And if Bioware thinks that the legacy system is going to entice lots of gamers to stay or come back to SWTOR then they are out of their minds.

An AA system would have been 100x more appealing to the average MMO gamer (and infinitely more appealing to the hardcore, endgame focused player).

Mark my words. The legacy system will. be. a. failure. Book it.

We all already know this. We are just hoping BW sees this soon enough to do somethign about it. But honestly I've lost hope for this game being anything other than a poor mans WoW with light sabers(Why I still play, I love star wars.).

Yea, the legacy is overall a big disappointment, especially because it's marked as "big update". It doesn't change any real or important gameplay.

I don't require alts to enjoy several of the benefits.

I've already got 4 level 50s and am working on my 5th. I am sure I will get a lot of use out of the legacy stuff

lets ignore fact is more then just legacy in 1.2 cause ya know would be reasonable >> and we know us forum goers cant be reasonable! also your sort of wrong... are plenty of folks wanted X race combo at launch are now getting it, so not everyone is as inclined to play just any race combo... i personally am returning sheerly to make a Chiss SI or Jugg(still debating it) and i'm sure are others like me as well.

Legacy is nice bonus but is alot of other content if you ask me 1.2 will end up being a fail patch though. NOT because of legacy NOT because of content but because its pretty much a massive nerf patch. gonna be a ton of crying on forums come 1.2 i am pretty sure of that.

Legacy is what it is. We already know pretty much everything it does. Like it or leave it. It's not like they are promising some miracle system. It's as much a part of the game design as the voice acting and the story aspect. If you feel like it isn't worth it, then just cancel.

Do people not like playing alts? I don't even feel like I'm grinding while playing it. I'm just enjoying the class stories. There is more than just end-game guys.. :/

Yes but all MMOs have had end-game be their main focus(which...still not sure why its called end-game when an MMO never ends), people are too used to it they don't want anything else.

The story just gets really repetitive when 80% of it is do overs. I did enjoy some of the class stories, thought SW was pretty crap, but BH was really good. However all teh repeat missions ruined it for me.

I wouldn't mind having less end game if the leveling was more fleshed out. Story line alone isn't worth the 100+ hours it takes to level an alt imo.
