Alignment, WHY no neutral!?

I'm stunned to find out that I can't buy any items as Neutral alignment,while dark or light alignment, can buy alot of stuff.

So, this game is supposed to be focused on story and character development, right?
Then why are you pretty much forcing me to go "out of character", because to get for example, accomentadtion items, I need to be either light or dark alignment....

This pretty much destroyes the possibility to be neutral, if you want to be atleast some what hardcore gaming!

Please fix this, OR tell me that I'm wrong, that you can get items specific for neutral, if not now, atleast at higher lvls?

Yeah, that stuff is your neutral stuff.

Besides the light/dark stuff is just a cosmetic difference. You aren't losing out on any stats. Well, that was how it was in beta anyways. doubt it changed.

This light side dark side thing bothers me as a BH why would the force even have any influence on me but yes you are forced to pick one side and level that up in that even if you want a different answer to the one that gives points not a great design choice if you ask me when you are ment to be developing your own character as you see fit.

This is not a shot but... Everything without the dark or light requirement is by definition neutral. How much more are you needing?

It's not a perfect system, but it does what it needs to do. There are PLENTY of items that have nothing to do with alignment.

Well, this issue should be adress IF they really want to pride themself on character development and such

uh, im pretty sure OP is refering to the horrible sysyem in game where if you are neutral you CANT WEAR GOOD ARMOR.

There is light side armor, there is dark side armor.

There is no neutral armor for higher levels.

Are you trying to say we should support that blasphemous Revanism?

Nothing to do with the force, its how good or bad are you?

The choices given to you, what would your character do if only those options are open to him or her?

You are not forced to do anything if I recall right from beta, its just a measure of how good or bad you are, and what "special" items you can get.
I think those items are appearance only as well.
