Actually, I have everything on HIGH except for antialiasing, which is OFF. You had a 64-bit OS with 8GB of RAM?

Give me a freaking break. People are insanely and unrealistically picky these days. Sheesh...

I've played KotOR 12 times. I've played KotOR2 8 times. I've played Mass Effect 4 times, currently involved with my 5th time. I've played Mass Effect2 twice, will start my third time with my current Mass Effect character.

Do I think that playing 40% faction quests over again to experience an all new 60% class quest too much repeated content?

Not only NO, but HELL NO.
The class quests don't constitute anywhere near 40% of the quests you do. They are about 40% on the first two planets maybe. Between 1-50 they are less than 15% total.

When I levelled a Druid in WoW, I levelled it through Kalimdor. When I levelled a Shaman, I did it in the Eastern Kingdoms, and even without both of those continents there are multiple equal level zones I got to choose from. I did Duskwood on my Warrior, didn't do it on either my Druid or my Shaman.

This was in classic obviously. Once they started pushing xpacs they linearized it a lot, but I still have 4 level 85 characters, and 4 other midlevel alts.

I have 1 alt in SWTOR, and I can't even stomach repeating Coruscant a second time let alone a third time, and even if I do, I have to go to Taris, Balmorra, and every other planet in the same order as every other character.

The replayability in SWTOR is a GD lie. Complete crap.

Actually, it does. We've known since 4 months before TOR launched that class story was only 40% of class quests. And so did BioWare. Daniel Erickson even mentioned that class story starts out at around 60%, then slowly ramps down to about 20%.

Well, if you've played as many alts as I have to 50, you'll see that Daniel Erickson was dead on. Do the math. That's ~40% after the bell curve. (Actually about 38.6xxxxxxx%, but I rounded up).

If those numbers are anywhere near correct (which I don't believe for a second), then they just did an even more craptacular job than I thought making it feel unique and interesting.

Yeah i will continue to sub, not beacuse there is much to do in this game but beacuse i still like the game.

I got 5 level 50s right now on different servers. And its sad that its so extremely easy to gear.

Thats the real problem in this game, character progression is way WAY to fast.

I don't know what to tell you. I run everything on high except antialiasing (which is OFF because there really isn't a big difference with it on high or off. There is very little jaggedness anyway). And I have zero FPS issues no matter where I go or what I do.

I'm just tired of people confusing the art style with graphics mechanics. The actual graphics mechanics, the specular lighting, the shadows, the reflective elements, etc. are not only on par with the latest MMO, but better.

It's usually the art style people don't like. If you don't like that, please don't bash the graphics because that's incorrect.

Also, you quoted me. I was talking mainly about the storylines.
Like I said I had no problem with the story lines in the game. Never said I hated the graphics either. And I fully understand what your saying regarding art direction. EQ2 was a very realistic looking game, however I hated the art direction in it. Other games, such as AION and even WOW have better artistic elements IMO even though they are far from realistic.

Can't argue with you there. Personally, I did wish BioWare would have went the more realistic direction. It's more immediately satisfying.

However, I'm currently replaying Mass Effect 1, and I can see why they didn't. It really looks outdated already. That's the inherent problem with trying to go the "realistic" route. It's looks old much faster than art styles. WoW is, indeed, a perfect example of that.

Thus, looking at it objectively, I can completely understand why they went the "stylized realism" route. The current visuals and art style really will last the next decade.

Three weeks ago, I tried playing the free version of WoW. I couldn't get past level 2, laughing the whole way, with how old it looks. But it took, what, 8 years to finally look old?

I think that people, visually speaking, may have even been spoiled by RIFT's art style. I know I was. It looks fantastic. But if you strip away all that art and just look at the MECHANICS, you'll realize that TOR's is just as good, if not better.

Is a good game to play 1 month, after that not enough subscription.

Expose your opinions
Why do people like you keep asking this every month? Seriously why? If you don't like it fine, but the question is getting old. Apparently the game is still growing, and the game in my opinion is getting better. Is it perfect? No but then again I don't think any game I don't make myself will be perfect to my standards.

Let me put it this way, I rerolled on another server and playing my Main's class storyline again and having a blast all over again. This is my 3rd time leveling on the republic side and I still want to keep playing. Again is the game perfect? No. Is it still fun for me even with dealing with all the crap, most from players, that I run into? Yes.

Honestly if anything is ruining the fun in this game its all the people who keep complaining about the same things and then say this game is such a failure. You are entitled to your opinion, even if its a negative one. But seriously, constrictive criticism as you all put it only is applicable if it is actually constructive. OP you don't even say what is so bad that its "Just another wow". They have listened, they are working on it, so just relax and either enjoy the ride or get off.

Well enough on this for in the words of Baron Deathmark, "Now back to the Mayhem!"
