Do Mirialan children inherit the same skin color as their parents?

 

May seem like an obvious answer, but just wanted to know.

I would guess that it two bright green Mirialan had a child, that the child would be predisposed to having bright green skin, but genetics has a way of surprising you, and they could be a different color.

 

And if two Mirialan of different skin tones had a child, the child would probably fall somewhere in between those two parents, but again, no guarantees. They could end up being much closer to one than the other, or have an appearance that doesn't really fit anywhere between them.

No one has gone into the genetics of the various skin colors in Star Wars, at least not in an canon source. So if you can make a convincing argument regarding your color no one can refute you.
