you could always go back to wow??

you mean where there are 85 soon-to-be 90 levels instead of 50? I just got the impression that OP was talking about what he's seen in SWTOR and his feelings playing SWTOR

I know this might sound stupid, but would it be too different and too never-done-before to keep learning abilities after max-level (Skyrim? never played it) and through missions where you actually train an ability instead of clicking on an NPC's vendor list?

And i don't agree with them i'm happy with the game, I miss a lot of quests because the warzones are AMAZING and they have no where to go but up, judge the game all you want. but why pay to play then?? just quit and do something else. )

Whatever people say modern, in modern MMO real game starts at max level and many do expect it. However its not possible to make complex game without leveling.

Shooters and MOBa games with just few 'abilities' might allow you access to full build character from start... but with 30+ abilities ?!
The more complex are characters, the longer leveling have to be.. in some cases its bit overgrown, and developers stick closer to oldschool concept of 'leveling adventures', where a lots stuff happens, but character develops little.
IMO, leveling process (as developig character to max potential) should be limited to minium .. instead game should offer 'adventure content' for characters at max level. People would split their patch as they wish.. some would keep questing and moving along story, rest would skip and go stright to what they like (PvE/Ops/etc).

If that's the case why waste time on operations and warzones? Wait, they obviously don't waste time on them as the numerous bugs have shown. Just remove all endgame references and tell players 'Your story is over for now, but who knows what adventures await in the future?' and drop them back to the character creation screen with a helpful prompt to roll an alt. That way you can plug the legacy system and start to build hype for a future expansion!

Very few tabletop RPGs begin at max level. Single player CRPGs don't begin at max level. Why should an mmoRPG begin at max level???

I think you are looking for a game more like Jedi Outcast or Jedi Academy. They have different levels of force allocations for all of the players on the server. You assign your points to force powers and then join the fray be it FFA, team based, CTF, dueling, etc.....

Those Champion bags were 200 of each type and could have bought the one early on and kept it in your bank, then saved up the 1000/1000 and opened up 5 more in addition to the one in bank as soon as you hit 50.

So 6 x 17 Centurion = 102
And 6 x 7 Champion = 42

You could have easily purchased something with those and continued on.

Normally I hate levelling, but this game has actual purpose to it and questing is a great deal more fun since there's something to it.

Tabletop games start at whatever level is agreed upon by the group-not everyone wants to be the 1st level wizard with one spell that can be killed by a housecat.

Single-player games have no endgame activities-when Shepard saves the day the game is over, and players know that. Shepard doesn't go out killing aliens for cash every day afterwards.
