The Force is with us. Now push hard for a talent that brings the CD on Force Sweep back down to 9 seconds.

I was hoping that's what that note meant. I was DREADING my main gap closer giving Resolve points all the time. I never took that talent when it was there and hated the thought of now not being able to get rid of it. It set up way too many cases of you using your gap closer causing the opponent to white bar and become CC immune.

Don't know how many times I've used Force Leap trying to get on a ball carrier before they scored and I would be scared to use it with Force Clap because it would add to their Resolve and possibly white bar them and make an easy score. So instead I would try to run after them and not get there in time which again would make an easy score. Glad its gone but maybe they should put it back into the tree for the PVE folks who actually wanted it. Never had a problem with the talent, but I wasn't taking it when I was going to warzone.

Nope. They should listen to us, but not cater to our every whim. They should rely on their own data and metrics to decide which of our complaints/suggestions are valid.

The loss of force clap for all guardians is a huge hit and people that don't pvp, like you, wouldnt be able to understand how big of a hit this is for guardians. So to compensate they need to lower the cost of focus defense.

Yes a huuuuge hit. Because...errr...actually there is absolutely no need for crash/force clap in PvE. It's a gimmick, nothing more, and its removal has barely any effect on the outcome of any PvE encounter, while on the other hand its inclusion would have a serious detrimental effect on the outcome of many PvP encounters.

Oh, and they did compensate for its removal, by buffing Ravage damage by a hefty 15%...what more can you possibly expect?

i couldn't care less about force clap, but guardians NEED focus defense to be free for it to be viable. Before the trolls or idiots/both start whining and lying out their asses about "heevy ahmur hurr" go attack a guardian 1v1 then go attack a marauder 1v1, see which one dies first(the guardian 100% of the time and this isnt even up for debate). Marauders defensive CDs are ALL on short CDs, and ALL of them are far better than what the guardian has(an non-tank guardian has, get this, one single defensive CD, saber ward, on a 3 min CD and enure which is a massive joke and will at most add 0.5 seconds to your lifespan.

I'm convinced that the cretins whining about guardians and trying to get us nerfed either have a sentinel/marauder(they hate us with a passion for some reason), or they went into a level 50 warzone in greens/no relics and got two shotted by a guardian and want to get "revenge" by bashing them on the forum.

Except since you don't know how to pvp, you wouldn't know that master strike is not usable in pvp because it roots you, except in certain extremely rare circumstances, so this supposed "buff" is a joke. Also you're ignoring the ridiculous focus cost of focused defense, which makes it nigh unusable in pvp. Nobody is going to pay 12 focus for something that can BARELY mitigate how hard range and annihiliation marauders can hit you for.

Dunno about you, but I'd say that my teammates stun enemy players plenty enough, providing ample oppertunity for me to use full duration master strikes. Then we have the maras and juggs that don't know to interupt and let me channel a full MS on them. BH's and Sorcs channeling one of their many channels or casts. Using it on someone rooted with leap. Using the first two strikes that hit within 1.5secs is fairly usefull to. I'd say master strike is plenty usefull in PvP considering the focus cost (0) and the damage. It's a really nice filler, which will be even better now.

lol, just lol. I don't think people show up just how bad they are when they post stuff like this, "it's bad because I don't get it".

for master strike to be viable in pvp (i wish it would be since i LOVE the animation) it would have to stun (like it does normal mobs) everyone both elites and champs in pve (i'm game if it doesn't stun bonetrasher or some other agro-less mob) AND all opononents in pvp (even if they have full resolve).

come on, it's not like it's a cc or anything, we've got agents for those (god kill them all) just let a guardian finish his/her master strike every once in a while.
