There should be another question:

"when is your gametime card running out ?"

Answer: Soon

"Will you get another one?"

Answer: When the game lives up to todays standards - on a day far, far away.

I don't think you mean 'today's standards' but more your standards as every MMO has different aspects to them.

What 'standards' are you looking for?

Depends on 3 things.
  • How fast new endgame content is added.
  • Will they fix, or at least mitigate some of the performance issues. (this seems unlikely since they seem unwilling to even admit they exist)
  • Most importantly, will The Secret World make me say "SW-what?" (this is looking more and more likely)

No one thing will be the deciding factor, and I can see myself playing both as long as one isn't significantly more awesome than the other.

Edit: I forgot one very important consideration. How fast they implement an LFG tool. I like my guild and I prefer to run with them, but due to scheduling, this is often not possible. Finding a group to join for a raid is almost impossible, you just have to get lucky enough to be on and paying attention to chat when a group is looking for one more. Fifteen dollars a month is pretty cheap, but not when you only get to play once a week or less. If I could hop on whenever I had an hour or two and pug a raid I would be much more likely to continue subscribing.

No. Takes too long to get a group for HM FPs.

Then you should stay away from MMOs at launch.

None in history has launched with an LFG tool, and none (at least this year) will.

I don't get these posts. Are to trying to get others to convince you to stay? Trying to convince others to leave with you? What's the point? I'm going to stay as long as i'm having fun. The day the fun stops is the day I unsub. Simple as that.

I wont keep my sub.

As far as the game goes, I had a great time leveling up. Unfortunatly there is not enough differation in the quests for me to level up another toon without the game feeling grindy and boring. Lasting appeal does lack in this game and will be a problem further ahead as more and more people reach level cap.

Suggested Changes
Quests
Needs to change, no amount of lore or voice-over will hide the fact that you are killing X jawas for the nth time in the same fashion. If we are to kill the jawas let us do so in other ways, bombing runs, taking control of NPCs, use special weapons, etc.

Complexity
Classes are easy to pick up and the skill cap is what I would consider low (It seems it will get even worse in 1.2). Part of the RPG experience is getting better at playing your class. As I played what was good was easily apperant (good for casuals I must admit) but there was little room to improve after that. Make the game more complex when it comes to the skills, reward situational gameplay over standard rotations.

OWPvP
Empire gets one side, Republic the other side, as it is now there is little or no interaction between them. When I played WoW back in the stoneage I was scared ******** when I entered Strangelthorn Vale, was worse than a horror game, you never knew when you would get jumped, it was exhilarating. Mix the zones make Republic and Empire come into contact more often by having quests available for both factions all over the planet.

--------------------------------------
I feel the need to rant about some other changes as well. Bear with me or skip, as you please.

I like my Sorc healer, I'm serious, I really do. You (Bioware) trying to reduce our healing capabilites in 1.2 for PvP is just insane. Do you even know how easy it is to lock down a healer? I can only heal myself as soon as I get targeted by two or more (half-good players), they might not kill me too easily but I will never be able to kill them as is or will be. GODDAMIT don't violate us healers!
-------------------------------------

May the force be with you.
Or pandas
Or quaqqans
Or whomever else you choose to travel with.

I don't like being called Evil. I prefer Morally Challanged.

It´s a fact that the graphics specs and engine are sub-par. Proven SW designs, but blurry textures, no physics, unrealistic look of the environment

This is what I call todays standards

or this.. and this.

NPCs are not interactable, the worlds are static and timefrozen and even the standards that were set by museum title Star Wars Galaxies like space combat and space exploration are not in.
