flashpoints when will they be solo able?

Me and my wife duoed all the flashpoints on normal up to the forge place I think (or D7, cant remeber the order of things, been awhile since I played, maybe it was boarding party?)

It's rather doable with two + companions (exception for us was Colicoid wargame, that just was lol).

Same story as most, takes longer to get a group then to just do it two man and fail a few times in the begining..

I'd prefer to NOT see them able to be done solo, not including simply over leveling the FP .....

Join a good, active guild, problem solved.......want to be a loner, and do PUGS, well.. there you are ........

If new flashpoints came with soloable versions, this would mean that they could add developers to the flashpoint team that would otherwise be working on separate solo content.

I can't think that a slightly-different solo version of a flashpoint would be very difficult to make if they do it at the same time as the group version. Certainly it must be significantly less work than making completely new unrelated content.

This wouldn't necessarily mean that they wouldn't make other solo content. But they could get away with making less of it and still let soloers feel like they got new content.

I agree, this is needed. Low pop servers are bad - they're even worse for Republic players who tend to be the minority faction.

And what are they doing in 1.2? Adding more same-faction warzones.... meaning the Imperials will rely less on Republic to queue up for PvP. In other words, there is even less incentive for people on the fence to be Republic. I will play Republic or I won't play at all - but at least when Empire had longer queues, it acted as a somewhat/pseudo faction balancing mechanic.

Now anyone who is unsure which faction will have every reason to be Empire, for the sake of having an easier time finding groups/raids for PvE content. It's quite unfortunate. They really should leave some incentive in the game to play the minority faction (whatever that is).

heck even cross faction flashpoints is even better than doing nothing.
I SUPPORT SERVER MERGES. I need the mmo feeling, not the single player game.

I WANT to do group content with a group but when THERE IS NO PEOPLE to do content with, there is a problem. And Bioware doesn't want to merge servers.

So what should people do? Leave their work behind and reroll on a server from scratch? Yeah great solution. Or simply just quit and don't bother with the 5-people-in-a-planet problem that's happening on A LOT of servers.
the problem is that allmost each server got low population(seen 1 yesteday with very heavy and 1 heavy, thats it) so you can do 2 things fix servers(server management, witch address the actual problem) or you can make grp content solo able and then break a core value of the game genre(witch only address the symptoms not the problem).

It's hard, but you can already duo many flashpoints. With the bonuses unlocked via legacy, I imagine it gets easier. Regardless, they aren't necessary in terms of bridging exp caps between planets and the gear you get will be replaced in a few hours anyway. If you just want to see them, do them once you overlevel them enough to solo, trivializing them reduces them to an instanced quest.

They should buff the rewards to entice people to do them. Even on heavy servers, most people don't bother precisely because it just isn't worth the effort it takes to get a group, not have the group disband/deal with random afks and dc's etc.

Even at launch times when EVERYONE was leveling, I had trouble finding fp groups. I don't know if people are scared of using the general chat or what, but hopefully people will stop crying about the dumb LFD feature, man up and TALK TO PEOPLE.

This is why we need a dungeon finder, but the community would die. Apparently the community on your server is already dead. Doesn't seem to be any care bears waiting on fleet to run FP's all day.

You know you can whisper people that aren't in the fleet, right? lol. Do a /who <level range> and start asking people, most will join up if they aren't afking or about to log out or something. The majority of people leveling aren't on the fleet.
