On my server people have just given up. I sit in fleet looking at the broker and rarely see anything more than NPCs talking. There maybe some actual players talking but mostly they are just trolling each other.

At first I thought.. oh no this would be bad.

But reading more and thinkig about it, I changed my mind. here would be my suggestions:

- New soloable content for player + 2 or more companions. Flashpoints however should still have a group version with better rewards chences at equivalent level. I like the idea of presence gear rewards, and affection gains too. Let's get the crew out of the cupboard!

- Heroic 4 quests, many, especially at high level will have to be tuned into Heroic 2... doable with companions. When there's 7-15 people on Voss or Corellia, finding 3 of them to join you for a heroic is a pita.

- Scaleable instances, that you can run solo or 2 or 3 players + companions would be great as well. A sliding reward scale to match it of course. So if it's late and it's just me and a friend or two we can still do some fun and rewarding group content.

- Multiple specs for each character, not even as much as what Rift allows, just 2 specs. This would give the option for healers and tanks to also have a dps spec. It would certainly help forming groups. How many times have we been in need of a healer, and the only commando around says.. sorry I am dps spec. Or a tank, and there just a Shadow who's also dps spec.

- LFD tool, hopefully not cross server to preserve a 'quality' in players behavior as they are accountable to their reputation on the server.

- Allow people to port back to the planet side shuttle of their choice after they finish a run... Shuttles to Fleet are great. You still have to get to the shuttle, so some minimal effort. But the trip back to resume your activities in unnecessarily long, and makes grouping an inconvenience.
The question is: can you make sword in box light sword so sword come out when opened? then if sword is back after sword, use light saber on box, and saber will be boxed after sword is out.(battlebug 2011)

Preach brotha!!

Please Bioware! Transfers and Merges are a must. Implementing some form of devices that encourage grouping would be great too. I have fairly limited mmo experience, but I thought Rift did a nice job of this.

There is nothing Massively Multiplayer on low population server.

Honestly, they should either just do the GW1 approach with mercenaries and heroes, add cross server LFG, or merge servers.

Those who didn't play GW1. You could bring computer henchman or customizable heroes (similar to companions) and have a difficult time clearing the mission or you could group up with others which would be the more ideal choice.

You mean ala Esseles/Black Talon? Or the final boss for Alderaan world quest? The clearly are capable of doing this.

Yup I support being able to do them with less than the 4 ppl required, perhaps using all companions to fill group spots, would help us that cannot find folks to help see storyline quests.

i know right!
and the fact you gotta go sit around at the fleet to try and find one, usually unsuccessful.

i've been playing since release and i've only managed to complete 3 flashpoints.
playing late at night especially hurts your chances, as you will usually be needing a healer and very few players actually level up as healing spec.

the only other method is when high levels run you through which i don't like. what's the point of even going through if you just sit back and allow a high level to kill everything.

somethings gotta change in this area.

also heroics i can rarely get a group together.

and i'm on a populated server, i can't imagine what it's like on an empty one.

it worked, and created a great community in final fantasy 11 but that has proved to be an anomaly. not having some tool to form groups has done nothing in my experienced to form a better community whatsoever like it did in final fantasy. that was a fluke. you need some type of tools to get groups together now, i think.

"the scoobygang legacy" on server mind trick, and in all other games, and things, and in life.

because of this something extreme needs to happen fast. I suggest anyone on the east coast if you want to reroll the fatman is the place to be. I just rerolled a toon there.

Its actually awsome server for grouping.
I SUPPORT SERVER MERGES. I need the mmo feeling, not the single player game.
