I think a better analogy would be.

You have this super awesome deck and it's painted blue.

Lots of people like the blue but there are some that stand around screaming "BLUE SUCKS!"

OR

"IT'S NOT BLUE ENOUGH!!"

OR

"IT'S TOO BLUE!!"

In spite of the fact that it's a nice size and fully functioning deck that seems to satisfy a large number of people, you still have all of those goons standing underneath yelling because it doesn't suit their tastes.

"IT'S SO BIG IT FEELS DEAD!!"

"WHY DO THEY DO MAINTENANCE WHEN I'M OFF WORK!?!?"

"THOSE GUYS AT SMECKS DECKS MADE A DECK 7 YEARS AGO AND IT'S BETTER THAN THIS!!"

"OMG THE DECK IS FALLING!!!"

The sad thing is, there might be a few things that need some work on the deck and there's a couple people pointing out the areas that need a little work but nobody can hear them over the cacophony of whine coming from underneath.

You clearly aren't playing the game if you think the forums are an accurate representation of the community as a whole.

Especially since the people got to test drive the car without power steering. They test drove the car without powersteering, bought the car, and then complained about it not having power steering.

Community is one of those things that you sort of have to involve yourself in. It doesn't just happen.

I know a lot of folks would like to believe that communities just spring up randomly but they don't.

And they went on the company's forums about it and whine everyday about no powersteering. It would have been good had the people not wanted power steering just like every other car. So the company listened to the whiners and got powersteering to test for people that like power steering in other cars. People are very happy now that they have power steering but some people are worried that power steering will make the car just like any other car out there.

You see, you have to actually play the game to see the community in game. That's kind of how it works.

what makes you think i dont play the game?

ive been playing since the beginning of march.but whatever,to be honest i think alot of the reason i havent quit yet was because i dont feel like playing a crappy free mmo and i dont want to go back to my previous mmo
