Plus attacking an enemy city.
I agree. ToR went a bit too far on the carebear side. I miss city raids.

Carebear? As if. Imagine what would be like if you have to fight a large number of players AND NPCs. Nah I don't think carebearing had anything to do with this, I think it's due to the good ol' hero engine.
Choices need to matter! If I die I need to live with it. Hardcore!

They killed AV when they put that stupid counter in to shorten the game's. After that all you saw was one giant zerg from one end to anouther with a few ppl on D trying to slow the other sides zerg long enough so your side could kill the boss first. The only time you saw anyone in thier was on Double Exp weekends sheer waste of a good pvp concept all because people cried that the games lasted more than 15 mins.

No druids or shamans being summoned, No Lords being summoned at stones, No calvery summoned,No shredders,No mine field..... the list goes on and on. WOW could have had decent open world PVP but the funnled everyone into thier stupid arena shoebox death matches.

You've made some prett big claims for providing relatively little feedback, basically you've pointed out 3 problems you have with the game.

1. GCD being to long.
I can kinda understand this coming from wow myself, but after i got used to it, i find i prefer it at 1.5. Honestly, can you properly evaluate your buffs / debuffs, your enemys buffs /debuffs, your teams position, the status of objecitives being assaulted or defended and the cd's on your skills in <1 second? 1.5 secs also makes you have to make each move count imo.

2. No cross server ques.
its already been stated their on the way so this is kinda moot. WHEN they should've been here is a topic for another thread.

3. No arena
personally i like arenas, it'd be nice if they implemented them. However even if they don't i don't think it merits calling the game weak or "not a gamers game"
Better to be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt

Hi, I am the bringer of truth and slayer of whiny ego heavy nerds. You speak of this PvP or WoWs like its hardcore. Its not. WoW is the most carebear, noob-friendly, easymode PvP with no risk. Coming from full loot FFA, hardcore REAL *********** PVP games.. I laugh right in the face of chumps like you. The GCD makes this game a TINY bit of challenging fun as far as PvP is concerned. But its still WoW'ish PvP and not worthy of being discussed under the guise of TO BE TAKEN SERIOUS PVP. GCB makes spamming less effective, making SURE to use the right ability at the right time. Also unlike easymode WoW, this game doesnt have auto-pilot MODs that are sure to fire off the right thing at the right time. Dont sit here and ******** bull*******s kiddo.. My 76 year old grandfather plays wow, no joke btw. He is even mildly ranked in PvP, smh. You cant come in and whimsically say **** like everyone's going to pump a fist in the air and go YAH WHAT HE SAID. Sure herd the weak crybabies who abondoned the whiny threads about NERF I QUIT, PVP THIS IM L3WTSAUC3 I SHOULD BE HIRED TO FIX THIS AND FINALLY GET OFF UNEMPLOYEMENT AND OUT OF MOM'S ATTIC, and all the other neeniers that plague ANY MMO.

You aint fooling the likes of me though, professionally im a well paid consultant in the MMO industry. But here right now.. Im just a gamer who gets to laugh at someone trying to twist propaganda'esque speechs into factless whiny little versions of the infamous Jerry McGuire scene- WHOSE COMING WITH ME!

Take the goldfish bro, but you also have to witness your logic absolutely defecated upon on your way out. Have fun with WoW kiddo, hope to see you on the next real PvP game before you get run off to safety games.

PS- This game has been extremely enjoyable thus far. Mostly because its not too hard to avoid annoying people like you. If I was here talking like im some epic hardcore PvP god because I spent 12 hours a day farming PvP gear that makes me function better then my enemy, id surely off myself. Do enjoy WoW again though and arenas an such. LMAO...

Well, if you enjoy playing WoW then go enjoy playing WoW.
No one is putting a gun to your head and making you play SWTOR. ( well hopefully not )
