Merc and WZ Commendations in 1.2

I have 1000 merc/1000 wz commendations right now. I am waiting until 50 to use them, much like other people. I am not stockpiling them by choice, I would buy my bags and gear right now if I could.

What will happen to these commendations when patch 1.2 goes live? I have heard that the mercenary commendations are going out the door, which is fine, but what about the commendations I have now? I am not stockpiling them so that I can get all the pvp gear when 1.2 goes live, but because you really can't buy much until level 50.

Question 1: What wil happen to the 1000 merc commendations when 1.2 goes live?

Question 2: Will I lose any of my merc commendations if they are transferred to normal WZ commendations? (Are they going to raise the cap on WZ commendations?)

Also, how much is the training for speed rank 3 in 1.2? I have heard it will be a lot, but they haven't given a number yet. Anyone know a number?

nothing is stopping you from rolling on the test server and get your answers...may even find answers to more than you thought you had questions for

Except that you can't transfer your level 50 character to the test server... So you can definitely see what it is like from level 1-20... of course if you really want to test the pvp stuff you could regrind your same character all the way to 50....

Yeah, I thought of that. If I could just transfer my character over, my questions would have been answered in the time it took to download the patch, but, as someone else pointed out, that's impossible.

I would like some answers to OP's questions too.

Seeing that prices on some new PvP stuff is more then 1000 warzone commendations, would imply that there is no max limit of 1000 warzone commendations.

But also it would be nice to get a confirmation, that currently stocked mercenary commendations, are just converted into warzone commendations.

PTS patch notes for 1.2 include raising the cap of warzone coms to 2000.

As far as what will happen to your merc coms...idk.

I'd like to know that too.
