Simple SWTOR specific PVP questions

I have searched the forums, the codex and googled, but I can't find answers to simple questions on some PVP mechanics. Someone please help. Maybe even put a Guide in as a sticky.

I have been PVPing on multiple toons since pre-launch and am at levl 45 on my newly turned level 50 Jedi. My previous PVP experience is from WoW and Rift and I think the warzones compare favorably to battle grounds and warfronts in those games. But these are the things I cannot figure out:

1) What is the command to bring up a raid window during the war zone? I am referring to that big chart that shows all the players from both sides and lists their class and what they did? CAN it be brought up during the fight? It can in those other games.

2) What do the medals on the far right really mean. I get that it tells me I killed so many players or did a certain amount of damage or killing blows. But what relevance do they have? Do you get more valor from them? More commendations? Are they meaningless now but will end up being in a future achievement interface? Will they be listed in the codex at some point?

3) When I think of it, I try to vote for MVP's at the end. Once you do, you can see how many votes everyone got, and it is always nice to see that I got one or two and once even three. But like the medals mentioned above, I can't figure out the relevance? Will you get a title or gear once you get so many? What is their purpose?

4) Is there a reliable way to target players in PVP? Tabbing is iffy, the preference to "Auto Target Closest Enemy" doesn't really seem to work and mouse clicking is hit and miss. Certain spells seem to make targeting difficult (like shield bubbles), distance is clearly an issue (If the target is across the room it almost never works) and I have never been able to target anyone through the transparent barriers while waiting to rejoin after death. There seems to be no /target command either.

5) How exactly does the ops leader get chosen and how do players change this on their own? I have entered several warzones that made me leader only to move the title to another player entering after me. I have looked for a command to intentionally give the control over to a more experienced player but can't figure out how.

6) Try as I might, I can't figure out how to program a macro in this game. Has Bioware intentionally left these out, are they coming on the future, or is there something I am missing?

These may all be simple questions to some of you, but I would appreciate the benefit of your experience.

Thanks
May The Force be with you!

1. At this point of time u can only view the scoreboard at the end.

2. Medals count toward your valor earnings, tho since the last patch its capped at 4 medals per game to stop medal farmers. Each medal is worth 500 valor and 10 WZ comms.

3. Each vote u get earns you a small amount of valor and WZ comms.

4. No, they are adjusting the tab and click targeting mechanics I think.

5. I think the ops leader is chosen from your valor rank.

6. No macros so far.

Hope this help.

1) You'll only see that chart with all players from both teams at the end of the game.

2) The medals give you bonus valor/commendations/etc up until you've reached 4 of them (bonuses currently cap out there). They don't have any particular in-game meaning/benefits, beyond looking marginally exciting when you have more than anyone else. Currently they don't reward anything objective-based, though they will in the upcoming patch.

3) Each MVP vote someone receives awards them with a little extra valor and another commendation. Nothing major - it's something of a pat-on-the-back.

4) No. Tab in it's current form on live is brutal (can be used, but not reliably so). Manually clicking/selecting the person you want to target is the most reliable, albeit annoying.

5) Whomever has the most valor (either # or percentage, don't remember which) becomes leader. Open your character sheet to see how full your valor bar is (ignore the valor level - it's not taken into account). If your valor bar is pretty full, you'll probably be leader. Once you gain a valor level and the bar is back to being pretty empty, you'll probably not be leader.

You can't give lead to somebody else, though being leader doesn't really matter. If you have unobservant players on your team, as the leader you can mark enemy healers to help point them out to others. Don't feel obligated to come up with a "plan" just because you're leader - either somebody will suggest a strat or they wont, and either people will listen or they won't. Leader is pretty meaningless.

6) No macros currently.

#5 I could never figure out because on many occasion the ops leader was a lower rank than me. The percentage of how high the bar is might make sense, I'll have to look next time.

Not a possibility during the fight, the chart only is viewable to my knowledge once a fight is finished.

At present the formula is 500 valor per medal for up to four medals, beyond that four-total number (i.e. 2000 valor) the number is just sheer "hey neat I did X, Y, Z" a design change meant to encourage objective based gameplay over medal farming (be it someone going off doing there own thing all warzone long, or a dominant team prolonging things to medal farm.

You get a fairly minor amount of additional commendations and valor but in reality the amount is not significant enough to function again as "hey neat 3 people voted for me" or such.

Not really. This is one of the things many have groused about be it as a healer (pvp or pve) or dps (pvp moreso). It helps to be aware of "target nearest" vs. "target next" which are two different keybinds, tab traditional being 'target next'. I know I've had times where it really feels like a doozy such as in huttball where it seems to snag anyone and everyone but the ballcarrier right in front of you. That said, I think it the frenetic-nature of battle it is still probably easier to pair tab targeting and nearest target over trying to click in a crowd.

5) How exactly does the ops leader get chosen and how do players change this on their own? I have entered several warzones that made me leader only to move the title to another player entering after me. I have looked for a command to intentionally give the control over to a more experienced player but can't figure out how.

From all I have read technically the ops leader is supposed to be the one with the highest valor. That said it can occasionally misfire on that front, I with my 62 valor have on occasion been made leader with some regular I know is a bit ahead of me not getting the nod.

6) Try as I might, I can't figure out how to program a macro in this game. Has Bioware intentionally left these out, are they coming on the future, or is there something I am missing?

Macros are a no-go in this game, and Bioware's official stance is that combat macros are something they absolutely want to leave out, meaning basic ones may come into existence but no complex attack-rotation based ones.

These may all be simple questions to some of you, but I would appreciate the benefit of your experience.
