Free transfers in the future?

Hi guys...i play in european servers (Ula Vii and The Kumumgah)...when i started i chose this servers 'cause the others were quite full and i wanted a quiet one...At the beginning it was great...but now...is quite empty here ...to find some imperial scum i need a date ...and complete the highter heroic quests is quite impossible...people is leaving the game from this server cause of this...so i heard that will be a free transfert soon (really hope so)...is it true?

Server Population is not near as bad as people think seriously check this out. This site allows you to see any servers population for a duration of chosen time.

I found this site and it's pretty accurate but your not seeing the whole population due to people logging on and off. Not everyone is on at the exact same time. Although as my previous post I still agree with having server transfers due to discovering friends on other servers and such.

filter population and goto pages 6 and 7......see the 15 servers that are listed under 1.0? Most are 0.97, 0.96 or lower.....those are all the servers that are DEAD. Those are all the servers that are GHOSTOWNS. Those are all the servers that have 10-20 on the fleet PEAK 9PM AT NIGHT.

Saying server population is not near as bad as people think is foolish...because the people on those 15 servers have a POOR playing experience MMO wise....

It is true that not everyone is playing at the same time still, I think population is an issue.
On my server (Ludo kressh) we have like 30-40 ppl on the fleet in the evenings at around 8-10 CET and after that it starts declining. I wouldn't call this a healthy population.

The AH is dead as well. However, it seems that there is always a new wave of ppl coing to this server because you can see fresh lvl50s but for some reason they disappear quite quickly. When you have a nice group for HMs or ops thats only for a week or two and then most of the squad wont log in anymore.

An MMO should be about socialising with other players but you usually end up seeing the same faces in all the WZs and on Ilum and on the Fleet and that gets boring pretty fast. Its liek living in a small village. Everybody knows everyone. That shouldnt be the case in an MMO.

I don't even care if they cost some token amount. My first character was on Iron Citadel, but I got sick of the post launch queues in a hurry and rolled a character on Krath. That server is now a ghost town on the Republic side, with seemingly half the population in one guild, so after clearing EV once, I went back to Iron Citadel. The population difference was so great that I didn't think my being on the west coast would matter, but now it does. I can stay there and pug when I want, or I can reroll again, this time on a high pop west coast server, assuming one exists. My preference would be to consolidate my characters on such a server (same, unusual legacy name) and be done with this, even if it costs a few bucks. Abandoning 50s in T2+ gear sucks.

If there is not server transfer's very soon. i am quitting for good. i am sick of playing on a dead server because bioware refuses to address this issue. sick of hearing about this 1.7mil subscriber bs. we can see that most server's are dead by actually playing the game.

We are talking about servers that are most affected by the low populations which if you bothered to look deeper at the site there are a number of them. These are the servers that players are having problems with.

they will be very targeted to only allow u to transfer to a specific server likely, you wont be able to go to a high pop server of your choosing. cause there arent many anymore, imo all should be on high for best player interaction.

This....firkraan crystal is a **** server for republic. 20 ppl tops on fleet on friday and Saturday nights. I pvp with the same ppl (who SUCK) over and over again because only like 10 republic are pvping. If ur NOT gonna do server xfers soon them at least implement ur cross server queues...
