Yea operatives/scoundrels need some more utility, gap closer might be a good idea.

Heck I say sure why not give you guys a gap closer. As is you guys already beat the snot out of us poor snipers and gunslingers giving you a gap closer will just remove the running portion away from us in hopes we can get clear of you. We can just stay in cover and take the death in stride with this option.

You mean "melees EXCEPT operative/scoundrel arent kitable"

And i dont see you complaining knocking operative back 25m and root/slow him.

how do you kite someone with a 30m basic attack

The cost of charge will remove alot of our ranges attacks.

Ye, spamming basic attack that does 500 white damage always accomplishes a lot

If you havent figured it out yet...scoundel/scrapper is melee class/spec.

It does more than 500 damage when flechette round is applied. And we do a crap load of damage when you apply a sabotage charge and use flurry of bolts to trigger it. We have the tools, you just need to use them.

I know you think scoundrels are weak ... but we're not. A gap closer would make this class retardedly OP in alderaan (which I might add it's already the best class there).

Giving us a gap closer would remove some other abilities ... so again I vote no. It's called balance. I think it's pretty stupid how we can easily kill rdps/healers without breaking much of a sweat.

Dunno why people are whining about buffing operatives.

On my server, OP are deadly class and in 90% of battles, at least one is in top 5.
But to play OP you really have to be GOOD. Op is deadly if you are good, and I mean really deadly.

For example, in Voidstar, one OP successfully defended 1 door against 3 shadows with his cloak/uncloak + cc interrupts. He even managed to butcher 1 shade. Ok, then Sorc and Marauder came as reinforcement and shadows were wiped out - but OP is the one who is in defense. And ALWAYS gets 3 medals for defense. Add to that killing blow and, say, one-blow 2.5k damage and you have at least 5 medals per WZ.

And in Huttball - ok, side with the OP is usually the winning side. With good op. Cause he cloakes, goes in front, all for sudden destealths, strikes, stealths to stop the ball carrier.
OR he goes in the finish line and destealths with that Flash thingy that makes 3-4 people around him blind. Defense neutralized in split second.

So, my point: now, when I noticed that computer is making "team mirror images", no nerfing or buffing is necessary.

Team mirror images= I noticed that in last, say, week, there is proportional number of classes in each team. For example, yesterday we had in our REP team only JK and Troops. No consular, no rogue. Voidstar. In the beginning I was "Sh't, we are toast - if they bind dps-heal, they can defend front doors and in our defense, they will pin us down with cc and finish with dps".
But - they didn't have OPs and INQ either! Then I noticed, in next game: we had 2 cons, they had 2 inq.

Even the previous situations of unequal numbers were rectified: before, it would happen that it was 4 of us and 8 of them (120 sec out was activated). NOW - equal number. Always. 5-5. 6-6. etc.

So now, I have no complains whatsoever. Each class has its weakness and strengths. You have to read and study to get your character to utilize his abilities best. I got some awesome tips on this forum (older posts) and on YouTube. Now, I am MUCH better in PvP.

Also, this nerf/buff talk is because people take their classes differently they are meant to be. OPs are stealth, opportunity driven assassin butchers. Their primal targets are isolated individuals and healers/ranged dps who don't move. NOT guardians/sentinels/shadows.

And yes, they can bring victory to their team easily. Which is MORE important then few medals (which, after last patch, over 4 don't matter much), cause daily and weekly bring instant BM/champ bags.

Burst was taken away...twice now. So yah, you can talk all you want, but class is atm NOT functioning as designed (whenever someone mentiones obligatory use of weaksauce 30m sniper skills you know class doesnt function as designed)
