whats funnier is he says this like a sorc always has cc breaker available.. in that case your whole team needs a dose of l2p if a sorc has been freecasting for 2mins with no cc

If its a DPS sorc. If you force them away from nuking your team to LOS and heal themselves. He isnt nuking your team. Or if its a healer, if he is healing himself, he isnt healing his group. Forcing someone into LOS, killing them or not is taking them out of the fight.

I have a sage, I have a blast on it. I think its easy to play DPS. But If im not allowed to free cast and have people on me the whole game, I can live a long time sure, but am I doing anything productive or helping my group? No, Im being forced into being selfish.
Sigh* nowhere in his post does he proclaim that he was getting owned by sorcs as a powertech. You need to actually read the post, and not just assume things. The whole post was about how powerful and crazy sorcerers actually are. How they have much more utility than other classes. WHICH THEY DO.

I see you enjoy letting your teammates die while you are stealth. Great job bro.

I attack the most important target every game. Most games I ride that healer ALL game. But if no healer is around I will ride the next most important target. YOU DO NOT ATTACK THE WEAKEST TARGET as a Operative/Scoundrel... you only have 10-15 seconds of energy to do any meaningful damage. If some scrub Sorc at the back is shooting his lighting.... let him do it as long as the healers/high damage targets go down ASAP.

Go play something else baddie.

Go ahead and stick with your sorc if you think they're so great.

I for one am dropping my full BM sage. Topping damage meters is fun for a while, but when you realize how little of an impact you are actually having on the game, you will start to see why this class is mediocre at best.

I am the king of wz stats on my server. 400-600k damage every single game. Many times 50+ kills and 0 deaths. But I can't tell you how many times my team gets ***** while I'm putting up these numbers, because it's all fluff damage and has no real impact on the outcome of each individual encounter.

My damage is easily healed through, and when the other team actually has brains and decides to focus me, I am dead within 3 seconds.

However, when I see some full BM shadows and sentinels on my team, I know we are probably going to win, because these are the guys that actually KILL people. When a sentinel ends the game with 320k damage, it's because he was laying some serious hurt on the other team's healers and sorcs. His damage was resulting in kills, which in turn results in capped nodes, and armed doors.

Your fluffy little AOE damage is not doing anything other than padding the enemy healer's stats.

i guess the fact i play premde organised pvp is lost on a random useless pugger like yourself. if your solo harrasing a healer you wont get anywhere as you dont have the energy upkeep to kil them after the burst and they will just /lol at you. if your allowing that sorc to free cast then spam aoe in CL, death field dot spread and keep cc up your really bad. Your in a thread claiming how OP sorcs are yet you do nothing about them at all. also seems like your knowledge of your own class and what you should be doing with it is massivly wrong. but then your probably the kind who fills a ball carriers resolve bar up before he even reaches a fire jet in hutball.

You have your choice of a aoe knockback (snare), stun, and cyclone. You have lots of tools to get away. Don't come here saying you will lose if don't have them all available at that time... that's like a Scoundrel/Operative complaining they die when they don't have stealth.

Most Sorc's sprint away from me right away.... especially the good ones (who have died plenty of times to me :P)

They are still by far the most infuriating class to play against.... one who is specced properly and doesn't just sit there and watch his health go down.

the bold part. any good sorc/sage on any server will be ripped a new hle almost instantly. myself and a few guildies are target priority in most wz due to the havok we can cause. but then you get other teams with fools liek the one above who will allow me to free cast and nuke the crap out of anything i want. and when im running in a full dps glass cannon spec its more fool them.

Take a good look at the link and watch the videos. If anything after watching what happens in competitive pvp and teams, sorcs are the last class that need nerfs and if anything, the corruption spec needs some over-hauling to give actual survivability. I'd give up my force speed in a heart-beat along with my bubble to have the survivability the mercs have. Add in them giving them ae heals compatible with what sorcs have now, yeah, I expect there damn well better be some loving to the healing tree.

First class to die every single time, now why is that.... if they are so completely OP'd like SOOOOOOOOO many people are stating, why is that they didn't completely stomp the living sh#$ outta all the other teams?

Things that make you go hmmmmm.................

The problem is with your class, not with sorcs.

Bioware nerfed operatives, and didn't give them any gap closers or anything useful to compensate for it. They are the only melee that can be successfully kited by a sorc.

It is literally IMPOSSIBLE for a sorc to get away from a competent sentinel or shadow.
