You do it cross server the exact same way you do single server. You put them on ignore.

I've actually come to be in favor of cross-server queuing for lower level content and normal mode flashpoints, though...
Now that the initial push of people are through those low level flashpoints, they're going to pretty much be unused by the majority of people leveling alts. New characters (people who just started) are going to totally miss that part of the leveling experience.

One of the reasons that the cross server LFG tool in WoW was so successful for myself and guild and friends was for this reason...

You have run this heroic 10 (more than that usually - but let's keep it conservative) times already, but you still need Frosties for some other piece, so grouping was fast, efficient, and everyone knew why we were all there. We blazed through the content the faster the better. And by that point, everyone loved chain pulls (I was tanking). Oh the rush of going from mobs to mobs with everyone having a total blast.

Unknown healer: Don't worry about me, pull at will
DPS friend: Yeah, beat your last record
Unknown DPS: Don't make me pull
Me: Try to keep up n00bs!!

If we had to spam Trade chat in Dalaran for 30 mins a pop, you can bet I would have never killed the LK cause I would still be getting enough rep and Frosties to gear up to be ready for the first boss in ICC.

However, I have to admit, the content here isn't as challenging, so maybe they just nerf it further and let everyone solo it! That's another solution to this dilemma.

To all wanting cross server - go back to WoW and enjoy community of trolls and ninjas.

Your attitude would suggest that you contribute to a less than friendly "community" in SW as well. Maybe you aren't a troll or a ninja, although that is probably debatable, but you certainly come across as someone who might populate a few people's ignore lists...

The sky is not falling....if you don't like a X-server LFD/LFG tool the solution is simple.

DON'T. USE. IT.

Sheesh.

Sheesh.
Or, better yet, just stick with the single-server idea and merge the low pop servers. Problem solved, lots of folks are happy, and if you're a douche canoe in the LFG tool then you have to deal with the consequences of it because those people will probably see you again in the future.

Now they just need to add server forums after the merges and we'll be golden.

You don't. That has nothing to do with the fact that you can still choose who you play with, just like I did in many of my groups in wow (about half, but I like to pug so I pugged) and just like many of my friends have always done in wow.
You just proved my point. Thanks.

Did they say anything about merging low pop servers as well? They kinda go hand in hand, because without that, you really don't get the benefit of this direction. Do you?

Too many of them to put on ignore when you have so many servers linked. But I completely agree with the rest of what you said. I have three 50s and working on a fourth. On my first one, I stopped to "smell the roses" so to speak, and took my time, listening to all of the stories and getting groups for all of the flashpoints/heroics. But, with each subsequent toon, I started doing much less group content. I still like to take my time with the stories, but I don't even bother to try to get a group going for that stuff anymore. That's why I'm in favor of queuing for lower level stuff and even 50 flashpoints. I've changed my mind to even go for cross-server for that, because I don't see the harm it could do, now.
