Final blow to pvp.

1.2 is going to have rated warzones, vote kick options and other things to help improve PvP further. No other MMO was perfect at their patch 1.1.5, some other MMOs didn't even have PvP systems until later on. WoW didn't show any efforts towards PvP until 1.4, which was pretty damn long to wait.

We are lucky to have what we have and to have a team recognizing our wants/needs and working on them. Bioware isn't God. They need time to work on these systems.

Don't take everything for granted and please look at it with open eyes.

It is not Bioware's fault for players on your server leaving/AFKing/griefing, it is those players' faults. No matter what MMO you play, you will find these people. People suck.

EDIT: Also, Bioware is adding more ways to get more medals, such as helping with objectives, scoring in huttball, and similar things. Just something nice in the future, not really too relevant to this :3

I would agree for the one I saw this the happen consistently on. The Twin Spears, Empire, is a terrible group of people. It's why we switched. I haven't had a worse server experience since I began playing MMORPGs with UO. It's really, really, bad.

I'm going afk in protest. Whats the point? Your down 3-0 in Hutball, you have your 4 medals and your in a team of low level teens . Your done, finished, no hope, the other team is going to run around with the ball to mock you, yes I go afk and get a drink or use it as a bio break because there is absolutely NO incentive to continue play at that point.

In my case, if small number of team mate stop at this point, the WZ is in a dead end for all the others.
You can still try to play the ball but you will do nothing alone or try to kill and get medals but they are useless.

Hopefully this is not happening on every server. I hope for you this will not change.

no problems on my server, not experiencing any of what you're talking about, OP. I did love the overly dramatic "final blow to pvp" title tho. Made it a must read.

Must be your server which has low correlation when it comes to blanket statements about PvP. 1.15 Warzones were really fiercely contested on Wounds In The Force, plenty of players brought their A-game for long periods today,.
