4 medal cap has killed PVP

yeah, if I'm in a fail group and it's near the end of game I'll just stop playing...I already got my 4 medals within the first minute of the game and my valor/comms will be the same whether I keep playing or not...where's the incentive?

The system is making them lazy, QED the system is the problem.

Still better than leaving, really. At least you don't inflict a fail team on someone else. Ashamed to say I left that Civil War out of habit, but I do intend to stay in fail games now, just because the worse my team is, the faster we'll lose, so it's not as big of a deal.

Man I wish I could be there for the people who think that they're gonna automatically get the higher tier gear and then realize that they suck too much and will never get it because now that other teams have full BM just like they did, now they get rolled whereas when they had BM gear and most people didn't...it seemed too easy.

Most Imps on my server suck so bad you can't even tell who's a BM and who isn't.

You don't get it.. you dont need to farm medals because they are dishing the comms out now. you don't have to try to win any more either.

Before the patch, I would be top overall, my team would win, and I'd have 8-9 medals. Most comms I noticed getting were like 96. during a bad match with a bad team and a loss if i had 4 medals i'd get like 30+ comms.

I played 1 WZ after the patch, team was terrible, we lost, I got 4 medals and had 85 comms.

So whats the point of even trying to win when we now have rewards for losing just as high as we HAD with a win before the patch.

How the devs thought this was a good idea is just amazing.

4 Medals win gives 2800-3050 valor, 4 medals lose gives 2600-2900 valor. I played 20+ wz yesterday and got from 58.5 to 60 in no time.

There is no point to make premades and win hutball in 2 minutes cause you end up with 0 medals and get 500-800 valor at best when losing side farm for 2 minutes and get 2800+ lol

I dont know how is is fun to play for fun and forget about gear? I remember my first week as green 50. Dieing in 2-3 hits was very fun, really

Everyone who still need some gear will do anything to get 4 medals before even try to win wz, cause this is a key to get a better gear now. Everyone who thinks otherwise is a noob or already full battlemaster.

Anyone with pvp experience from any game could have seen this coming.

I'm complaining about giving up in PVP, I never quit a match, I never stop trying till the very end of the match, I never afk and I sure as hell never medal farmed.

How is my PVP mentality fail ? Should I just lose all competitiveness I have and join the exact people I am complaining about in going afk to get warzones over quicker and onto my next warzone and 4 medals.

But this isnt what happens. in at least 50% of the case from my experience.

As soon as it appear it is a loss and you have your 4 medals then people are just giving up, I even saw a team last night all stand there and just let us cap all 3 turrets in ald just to get it over as fast as possible, they didnt care they had 4 medals and they would rather have 2.5k valor and onto the next warzone than drag the warzone out another 5 minutes in an effort to get 3.5k valor.
