I think you missed where the quoted poster indicated the value as a percentage?
If you increase from 43 to 57, that's a 33%% increase. When there is a difference of population of 57% vs. 43%, that's a 14% difference. Calling it a 33% difference is 100% incorrect.

Gotta admit, though its a little "odd" by MMO standards, I personally think it "fits" somewhat with Star Wars-y lore.

After all, lore has shown that some characters had latent force sensitivity. Leia wasn't a Jedi from the outset, but she nevertheless had some connection to the force because of who her father was.

He's right though, it's a paid beta.

I can sooner rationalize performance issues, because at least those won't manifest until they're actually on users' varied systems.

is WoW not a very different game now to what it was. was it a paid beta up till now? MMO change and grow they are dynamic, that doesn't mean its a beta

The quoted poster is refering to the difference as a percentage of one of the original percentage values. He is correct. It is indeed a 33% difference. In essence, they are referring to a percentage of a percentage.

But you are also correct, because you are referring not to the difference as being a percentage of one of the values, but in fact referring to it being a value in itself.

Both are correct.

On rare occasions, children are able to escape Korriban, but they will be outcasts in Sith society and I doubt the Mandalorians will want to train someone who couldn't cut it as a Sith.
You do NOT want to do the Cave 52 mission on Balmorra. Or do one of the first side missions on Hutta. Or really just think logically at all. I mean, if a parent finds out that their kid's Force sensitive, but doesn't think that kid can make it as a Sith, they're just not going to bring the kid's sensitivity to the attention of anyone in the military or government. The galaxy's a big place, even the Empire can't keep track of everyone everywhere. So, a Force sensitive person gets raised in (probably, since they're kind of on the run) some pretty seedy places. They make underworld contacts, and get into bounty hunting that way. Their sensitivity to the Force might actually help them become great, since it could manifest in them being able to accurately know where their target's going to be and aim their pistols accordingly. Like Luke with the Death Star (except with pistols instead of an X-Wing).

The Mandalorians aren't really known for their thorough background checks, and even if they were, I doubt any of them would say "Well, technically, the law's the law, us being the fine upstanding citizens that we are." As long as you fight well and bring honor and glory to yourself and your clan, I really don't think they'd care that much.

It's kind of pointless to argue this though. You aren't going to change my mind. It's kind of like how some people are completely against the Pandaren in WoW. It doesn't matter how much logic you throw at me, I don't like the concept.
Oh, I guess it was a waste of time typing that out. It appears you came to a discussion forum with the intention of not discussing things. Seems like an interesting choice, but more power to you, I guess.

Thing is, WoW isn't the only MMO that has launched over the last 8 years.

For instance, didn't Rift launch with a fully customisable UI? I'm not saying that Rift had everything at launch, but my point is that WoW isn't the only "standard" to look at.
