Is SWTOR dying?

Are there any PVP servers with a balanced POP?

I'm on Scepter of Rag on EU and it's all IMP all of the time.

Best you're gonna get by far is Tomb of Freedon Nadd.

I should know: I'm from Scepter of Rag EU as well and re-rolled about a month and a half ago ;p

Still more imps, but its not like a 3:1 ratio anymore. More like 1.5:1 or something. Way better. At least it feels that way. And whilst leveling there's hardly more imps on the same planets, just there's more 50's of em atm. ;p

Whats the Republic Like. I'm keen to roll one if it';s worth it?

Also is it an English speaking server, Don't wanna get thereand be russian chat or nord?

The server has large spanish, russian, italian, serbian and english communities to name a few. The starter republic areas are definitely more populated than the imperial so I imagine the server will have a very balanced population in the near future.......

I am on the european server hydian way and i believe its also one or used to be one of the most populated servers.

However the amount after 20th of feb (That would be around the second month for alot of people) numbers dropped like a rock.

Before that around 150~200 people during prime time on imp fleet has now been reduced to 70~80 sometimes around 100+. I dont know about the rep side but seeing as they seem to have smaller population i assume its even worse.

Now its normal for most new mmo's to lose people after the first few months but holy hell this is going fast and with the amount of servers there are you going to have its spread out so thin if this keeps up more people will leave because of the ghost town effect.

If you look at torstatus.net then seeing some servers never go beyond the light status i really feel sorry for the people playing on there. But its only going to get worse, now there will always be those that will stay but i think at this point server mergers or character transfers are unavoidable. Now asking people to reroll on a new server i think is retarted, some might do it because they really enjoy the game but alot of people do not want to redo everything again on another server.

Even the one's that swear by swtor and love it, you cannot tell me that if you are on a server that is almost empty you like playing on a empty server.

Wish Bioware would make one English Language Server EUand then split thedifferent languages per server.

Don't really wanna join a server where people aren't speaking english in general chat.

It is frustrating that many bash SWTOR because it is not like Wow which has been around for 6 years.

It did a Warhammer.

Warhammer was released unfinished so it could make Christmass sales and all but one capital city was eliminated in each faction. The result was it died out fast after people leveled.

The MBAs and accountants love to rule anything.

At this point, the best thing EA can do is to consolidate its servers and release a dungeon finder FAST to keep its existing 50% of the players who have not left.

No one raids and I have not met a raider yet on my realm. Has anyone lese? Wow had that problem too before the raid tools and dungeon finder. It saved its *** and even increased its marketshare.

Patch 1.2 hints at a multi realm flashpoint finder but that wont work for raiders who like to be on the same server. EA needs to fix this in the next set of patches before it makes its first expansion pack.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm not going to sit by while we are used as tools for Bioware and EA to "COMPLETE" their game... 2 ops has become boring.. 3 wzs has become boring.. I just officially canceled my script man and let me tell you what... it is exhilarating. I can move onto a new game without worrying about server imbalance, lack of drops in HM ops, glitches, changes to character skills... I tell you what I've never felt better, I hope they ban me so when they finally implement something that changes the game for the better, I will not be allowed back in their disgusting money making circle... troll #1,876,511 out..

The game dies on May 15.
