To be honest the devs aren't really paying much attention to the lack of information in these threads. Waste of time to muddle through all this for the 1 or 2 good suggestions. This is more for the players. However my point is if they TRULY had the "best of intentions" for the game they'd spend that effort making suggestions.

Want the devs ear? Get on the test forums and be productive.

well after 3 months of playing and trying lots of different classes on both sides the only level 50 character I managed to get to 50 was my trooper. I dont think I will stick it out with this game. I didnt even finish my class quests because once I got to 50 I was soooo tired of quests and voice acting that I rerolled and didnt look back at that character.

I found that with random groups in dungeons my time leveling was just faster in WoW. I enjoyed the variety of dungeons but this game standing around LFG for hours to get a dungeon group to avoid questing constantly gets old fast.

So once again I dunno if its just me but there is WAY TO MANY QUESTS in this game and no ability to auto join groups looking for the same dungeon content is a seriously lacking part of this game.

And the problem with the quests is that they are only 3 types.
1. Kill X number of monsters.
2. Collect or click on X number of objects.
3. Talk to person X

But you never get any quests like in WoW where you need to shoot sharks with harpoons, bomb the **** out of a city/place from a flying pig or save baby bears by climbing trees and throw them to a safe place or ride a *********** tank to fight other **** running around.
All those quests is not really fun. But it adds variation into the questing so you find those top 3 most used objectives more fun.
@ Bioware
Stop trolling the EU. Fix the downtimes to the middle of the night and not in the middle of the morning / day.

Did you play Vanilla Wow? Remember when PVP didn't exist, and then when it was Taren Mill war! And back then, here weren't quests like the ones you mentioned I remember when BC came out and they introduced the bombing quest...and yes it does add variety but dear god, they released a massive game with unimaginable detailing, and whiney people are QQing about now having everything they want at launch.

Having played WoW since release, and now TOR, I'm enjoying TOR - I'm hopeful that BioWare will only improve on the foundation they've started...

If your going to compare SWTOR with WoW, I have only one word for you:

PANDAS

I dunno, at first I was excited to play this game but after you finish the story once on a character, leveling up is a shell of that experience and end game here is pathetic. This game has made me appreciate WoW and I've thus canceled and shall return to my Pandas.
Our lack of a proper LFD tool will black out the sun!
Then we shall cancel our subs in the shade!

Out of curiosity what endgame are you referring to in WoW?... Because they are both very similar, and with the ICC type buff the put in DS, they are both just as easy.

Also pandas are still what.. 5 months away?

What this game does that pushes the MMO genre much further is not only the massive amount of voice over, but the decision making system also. The "You Choose Your Story" in an MMO has not been done to this scale before.

There is currently nothing like this game on the market for an MMO.
Hey man, I couldn't agree with you more. Once you try something different and then go back to the old system you will see the difference.

Lets give an example; I have played several MMO's and just to name a few with EQ then SWG, WOW ,WAR and last year RIFT. The mechanics in these MMOS are tried and true with prescripted text speech, Faction Grinds etc..

In Rift I was amazed on the multi Soul role system which you could change on the fly if a particular Soul was needed and the RIFTs that showed up unexpectantly out of the sky was something that no other MMO company has tried before. Even Blizzards WOW game couldn't do tihs with their engine updates.

I got the chance to participate the SWTOR beta 2011 last year and was amazed with what BW accomplished. I didn't want to go back to TRION's game after seeing and hearing the voice overs and later cancled my sub. No other company has done this before but BW took the chance and it paid off. The fact SWTOR has a storyline base and the choices you could make being Lightside or Darkside was the turning factor for me.

Point I'm trying to make is its hard to to go back to a game your so use to compared to the new game mechanic that will revolutionize the industry!

They are similar but differ in execution. The progression system in the DS is better then the current state in SWTOR and a solid system is what keeps raiders in check. Perhaps pathetic was the wrong word, it's just the catch all phrase I hear too often.
