Animal Mounts

I wouldnt mind an animal mount.

Because there were never any animal mounts in any of the Star Wars movies

My biggest dislike is the fact that I have to do a bow-legged squat to ride my speeder....how comfortable is that??? It's worse than a Segway!

I would totally rock a varactyl mount...

I would love to romp around Tatooine on a big, fluffy Bantha, stepping on Sand People.

I would totally rock a bantha mount. I miss Wooly, my old SWG mount.

I would settle for planet specific animal mount taxis similar to the flying sharks on Alderaan.

I never played SWG. I've heard horrible things. Something about some game update ruining it?

I'd like to see this but unfortunately the mechanics may prove a problem. What sort of Speed gain would these mounts provide? Can you really justify them being faster than a t3 speeder? If not then what use will they be other than for 10 minutes of fun to say look what I've got!

I suppose they could go Something along the lines of

Taun Taun: Same as T2 speeder achieved by completing quest on hoth rather than purchasing?
Dewback: Speed of T1 speeder but with increased resistance to being knocked off.
Lizard thing Obi rides: T3 speeder speed and higher jump?

Any other suggestions?

And yes although WoW had animal mounts it was not the first, it would be in line with SW Lore and of course you're a troll!

The variety of creature mounts in SWG was one of the few things I loved about that game. My BH had some kind of lizard-bird thing.

Maybe put a stable on each planet near the spaceport to purchase/store planet specific creature mounts.
